As he spoke, he had already taken the lead and dashed back. Desperate times were not the moment for Giants, starved for days and surviving only on wild vegetables and leaves. How could they have strength to wield a sword?
For Giants of large stature, the Human cavalry posed little intimidation, but the enemy played dirty. They did not wait to get close but welcomed them with Magic Crossbows.
The Giants who reacted a step too slow had turned into porcupines. The remaining Giants burst forth with unparalleled speed and, for a short time, managed to outrun the cavalry.
However, this explosive sprint eventually reached its limit. After rushing into the forest, the Giants sat down on the ground to rest.
