The first rays of early morning sun spread across the earth, and Hudson let out a yawn. Under Melissa's resentful gaze, he reluctantly climbed out of bed.
He clearly lacked experience, overindulging in the previous night's celebrations to the point where his bride could hardly get out of bed now.
Hudson couldn't help feeling helpless. As a magician, his physical strength was incomparable to a knight's. He hadn't even gone all out, yet Melissa was already unable to keep up.
"Rest up, I will arrange for someone to bring food. There are too many important guests here for the occasion, I need to attend to them, so I won't stay with you."
He spoke softly to her.
If this was just a typical marriage between major nobles, getting a third of the major nobles to attend would already be quite good. After all, the Koslow Family didn't have any special relationships with everyone, for an upstart like them, it wasn't worth the nobles going out of their way to show support.
