Why the rush?
If you waited ten or twenty years, and came to negotiate when Master Hudson was all set, there would be no hesitation at all.
If a fight breaks out now, Hudson doesn't have the confidence to get away unscathed. Under the overpowering tide, the weak Mountain Domain is simply no match for such a terrible onslaught.
If one does not agree on words, it is less that one is better.
Once the visitor's intentions were guessed, the ensuing negotiations soon ended unpleasantly.
There was a moment when Hudson wanted to report these guys, but he eventually suppressed this thought. When a deal isn't made, there's still a sense of chivalry. He can't bring himself to do such an unjust thing.

On the way back, Baron Kailet's legs were shaking non-stop. If possible, he would rather live in the Mountain Domain.
Although Hudson is very annoying, these guys obviously have not yet infiltrated the newly risen Mountain Domain.
