If so, with a material Labyrinth in existence, then wasn't it possible for there to be a Labyrinth at the network level of Spirit Energy?
The answer was, of course, yes.
Ian could even imagine such a scenario—after the destruction of human civilization, a network world capable of self-repair and autonomous mechanical maintenance still existed, hidden in every corner of the world.
It operated continuously, preserving those ancient codes and knowledge, waiting for the next civilization to emerge on this land that had once undergone destruction.
