At first, Lamar thought Ian, being a Viscount, had something urgent and had sent someone to call for him, but upon seeing Elan, he realized that the workaholic Ian he knew in his eyes actually had a normal life, one which involved spending time with his younger brother.
He walked into the shop while Ian remembered the dream from last night.
In the dream about the Worm Nest, although those six years had been skipped over, Ian had a vague memory of Lamar taking good care of Elan.
And it was rare, not because of him, but solely because of Elan.
Was it because Lamar himself was an orphaned refugee from the Crimson People and felt compassion for Elan?
Or was it that Elan's taste in flowers and plants aligned with his own?
