If, as he suspected, Terra had more than one civilization's spark of a spaceship, then many of the magical beasts in this world, apart from a portion of native species, were likely either from other origins that had adapted to the Terra ecology, or the result of modifications by a prehistoric civilization.
In that case... the Huai Guang Church's statement that 'there are hundreds of disasters of the same class as Carlin's Flower in this world' was probably true. They had not exaggerated in the slightest, nor had they lied!
