The two assassins reacted swiftly, attempting to block with their black daggers, but the sharp Sword Qi struck the blades, instantly severing them and carving deep, bone-revealing gashes in their hands!
The two assassins grunted in pain, scrambling out of the "gateway" they had emerged from on the ground, rolling twice before sprinting away, distancing themselves from the Silver Pot Knight.
These were two Sequence Eight—Locksmiths who had tried to launch a sneak attack through the opened "gateway," but they ended up failing miserably.
