Baron Barnie was invited to Pompey Manor as a guest the next day.
Chen Lun arrived on time in the morning to clock in for work and discovered a unique carriage at the entrance of the manor.
After entering the villa, he saw a slightly portly middle-aged man sitting on the sofa, chatting and laughing with Viscount Pompey.
"Come, Barnie, let me introduce you."
Viscount Pompey enthusiastically introduced Chen Lun to his good friend.
"This is Mr. Jack, the tutor I found for Rebecca," said the Viscount.
"Hello, Mr. Barnie."
Chen Lun extended his hand in a friendly manner.
Baron Barnie sized him up with a few glances and shook his hand with a smile.
"So young, I didn't expect Mr. Jack to be a scholar at such a young age..."
He immediately turned his head and asked Viscount Pompey with a look of curiosity,
"I remember you had Mrs. Eulalove, didn't you?"
