[Third-Person POV]
"Hello?" Our new streamers had said this while looking at his phone.
"Do I even have to greet people when no one will look at my stream?" After thinking it through, Mr. Newbie decided to let it be a practice for his next viewer.
However, just before he began to move, his viewership rose. It wasn't just a viewer or two who had come in to check out his channel. It was an immeasurable number of viewers that only a handful of people could ever have.
A hundred thousand people joined his chat. At first glance, the streamer thought that a view bot program was playing a prank, but seeing how the chat was moving at an unreadable speed, his doubt lessened. Most of the words he could read looked like people from the internet, and with some idiotic comments coming up, his doubt had proved that these people were real.
"To think I have this many viewers." In his mind, the streamer silently ridiculed the streamers, complaining about their view count. And those who heard this took great offense to it.
[System activated! Tutorial starting!]
[Starting on a new hobby, with multiple people watching. Your job is to entertain your viewers.]
[First choice: As a new streamer, little is known about you. Go around town and just walk around aimlessly while introducing yourself.] (1% Stats all up)
[Second choice: A fun stream is always worth remembering to establish your first stream. Instead of finding a place, there's a mysterious encounter to your west. Walk straight for twenty minutes, and you will find your destination.] (2% Stats all up)
[Third choice: Night is approaching, and most of your viewers are deadbeats. A strip club would be a pleasant stimulant, and you would be attracting the coomers.] (5% Stats all up)
Of the three choices given, the third choice was a no-go to the streamer. A strip club would obviously get him banned, and with this chance given, it would be a waste to lose his account now. While it would make him stronger, he wasn't someone who was currently desperate for it.
Immediately, he went toward the west of his apartment. The third option was too dangerous for his stream, and the first was too boring, so his only choice was the second. This was also a way for him to test what his powers had in mind.
"Oh, I have forgotten about the chat." With the choice, the chat he was supposed to manage was forgotten. They had also forgotten about the streamer, as they also saw the choices given.
[NahIdWin: Mr. Streamer! What's your name?]
"My name?" He thought about it and decided that saying his name wouldn't mean much.
"You can call me Sean." Replying to the question, he continued to look and wonder what caused him to gain so many viewers.
[MeatRider96: How large is your cock?]
[PaperPlease: ---------------]
[SnowSnowSnow: Do you have a boyfriend?]
[WeakWeakMan: --------------------]
Anyway, continuing to walk with his phone in his hand, Sean found it strange that some of the words the viewers had typed were blank. He wondered if this was the current trend, and if it were, then those who made it must be dumb.
"People these days..." As Sean walked toward his destination, the gaze he felt from everyone intensified.
"Do you want anything from me?" Sean turned around and asked the person far behind. Sensing that someone was following him, he thought confronting them was best.
Knowing that Sean had already seen through this act, the person hiding appeared out of the pole they were hiding in.
The person who appeared was a rough-looking man. His dark, scruffy black hair made him suspicious, no matter which angle you took. Other than that, his dark eye bags meant he lacked sleep.
"So are you going to answer or not?"
"Sean, I need you to #@!# @!#$!" Just as he was about to finish those last few words, Sean tilted his head in confusion, not understanding what this shady man was saying.
"Are you okay?" Not only did he stop speaking, but there was a violent cough and some intense pain that could be seen on his face.
"I want you to $#@% @#%#@$." This time, not only did he choke, but blood started to spill out of his eyes and mouth. If it were anyone else, they would have freaked out and called the hospital for this man. While he could understand the man was feeling sick, Sean just stared at the man, feeling nothing. Even if he suddenly died and collapsed, he would just stand still and leave, finding this ordeal a waste of time.
"As much as I would like to listen, you're not in the condition to speak. Once you get better, you can stalk me and tell me what you want." Speaking of what was needed, Sean left the scene, leaving the sick man behind.
The comments on his stream were shocked and perplexed by Sean's actions. What he did was heartless, but some defended him because the man was a creepy stalker.
Ten minutes later, Sean found his destination. Even without knowing where he was supposed to go, his instinct told him where his system wanted him.
What greeted him was a normal building, but what made it strange were the people blocking the entrance. They weren't just regular people. They seemed shady, wearing black suits and sunglasses and dressing like bodyguards.
Once Sean had entered their view, the expression on the bodyguards changed, as if they were expecting him to arrive.
"Is this place off limits? I have seen this building before, but there were never guards blocking it. May I ask why?" This question wasn't harmful, but the guards took it as if it were.
"There's a renovation plan happening. It's inconvenient for anyone to come in." Coming up with something, this idea was feasible.
"Can't you just put a close sign? You make it seem like you want me out." Speaking out of his mind, his counter-argument struck a chord.
