Chapter 1 - Extended Summary/Prologue ✓

Villain.

That word has many different meanings.

It could mean an evil, diabolical person.

It could mean someone who was thrown away for just existing.

It could mean a very misunderstood person.

It could mean someone who wants revenge for ruining their or someone else's life.

It could mean someone who uses dark magic.

It could mean someone who had pitch black hair or dark skin.

It could mean someone with dark, onyx eyes.

It could mean someone who's at the very bottom of life, using every means to rise up.

But . . .

The only one of those things that people see is the first one.

They think that everyone who is called a villain is an evil, diabolical person who deserves to die.

Sometimes that is true.

Sometimes a villain does deserve to die for all the horrible things they've done.

But the other times, its the Villain who is innocent.

A victim.

But people don't see that.

They're too blind to see whats right in front of their eyes.

Even if there is clear evidence or witnesses.

They always blame the Villain.

Without even considering their side of the story.

Its people who should be called villains.

Evil.

They blame their own kind, and show no mercy to them.

Human's are the monsters.

The Villains.

So why should I care what happens to them?

They blamed me.

A victim.

An innocent person.

For something I didn't do.

They didn't care for what I had to say.

They brushed me off.

Imprisoned me.

Tortured me.

For days.

Weeks.

Months.

Yars.

Before I finally had enough.

I couldn't bear to listen to them degrade me.

Insult me.

Call me names.

Beat me.

Call me a Villain.

Evil.

Diabolical.

So one day.

I let go.

Of my sanity.

Of my magic.

Of my humanity.

Of my self-control.

I let the demons planted in my mind take control.

I didn't care.

They obviously didn't care for what I had to say.

So why should I?

Hm?

They hurt me, broke me, damaged me.

So I did the same to them.

I paid them back 10 fold.

I let myself become what they called me.

What they made me out to be.

What they wanted me to be.

A Villain.

A broken, damaged, numb and wounded Villain.

By the time I regained consciousness, I had destroyed everything.

There were hundreds of people's blood on my hands.

But by then, I couldn't feel anything.

I felt numb.

Like my emotions were watered down.

Until there was barely anything left.

So yeah.

I let myself fall.

Fall into their trap.

I walked straight into it.

And allowed myself to become what I hated the most.

A Villain.
