1. The book is written in a victorian era setting and is no way nor in no area close to the fact. But I for one as a person likes the ways of their time. Which would be the setting for the whole series/sequel.
We might have silly occurrence probably involving an human turning to a frog or a unicorn flying and coming to life. But lets always remember that this is an historical-fantasy-romance-fictional book.
2. The book contains mostly-comedy, fantasy, light romance with a gothic backdrop.
3. MY BLACK ROSE [ MYRA ] is part of a series, but you can read it as a standalone. There is no compulsion to read other books.
4. This is a slow burn, which is still on ONGOING.
