The pressure and steam had built up underneath the ground and travelled upwards once it had reached the point where it could no longer be contained.
One wave of steam was pushed up through the mountain towards the top of it and that was pushed harder from the next wave that was pushed up.
The hot water and steam that had been released dissipated to due the large amount of heat which eventually went on to form the clouds around the mountain.
Some may have travelled through some passages or cracks as a means to push some in another available direction since the pressure was building up and the water and steam was not moving fast enough to keep up with the movement of what was ahead of it.
Those parts had been pushed out towards another direction then continued as more pushed from behind until it was fully expelled from the mountain and was released into the atmosphere outside.
Blush had been blocking its path as wave after wave had crashed into her body that remained unmoving.
Her mana fluctuated just as the waves were about to crash into her and spread out of her body further to meet it with enough force to be able to stop it from getting to Blush.
More came from behind followed by another and the pressure kept increasing just as her output of mana had increased to match it.
The waves crashed into her Mana Skin and were then pushed forward from behind so it had no other option but to follow the path around where she was.
Sometimes Blush was out under a large amount of pressure where the waves had continued to come quickly and increased what she had to endure.
Sometimes Blush was able to take a moments rest in between some waves and prepared for the next one.
There was no fixed pattern to follow and there were times when the force could not be predicted either but Blush had her Psychic abilities to be able to follow the fluctuations around her to detect what was incoming.
So long as it was not out of her range of detection and out of where she had mainly put her senses mainly pointed towards, she would not miss it and would have much less of a chance of failing.
The pressure kept building up and dropping as wave after wave hit Blush and it had started to take a heavy tole on her.
Her mana was running very low but she had remained in place when a large and powerful wave hit her once again.
The last of her mana burst out of her body and fought back against the wave to help Blush hold her ground. "Aah!"
It was showing some signs of weakening until the main part of the waves pressure had dissipated as most of it had passed.
Her mana ran out and she her layer of Mana Skin had begun to lose its effectiveness against what remained of the wave.
It looked like it was the end of it when a powerful wave had come crashing behind when Blush was without mana to use and her fatigued.
It took a strain on her to overcome the final hurdle but a new challenge had arrived.
Her short pastel green hair had started to float up around her and her ruby red eyes had begun to glow a little, another force was released from her body that was sent out and surrounded her body just like the Mana Skin.
It was her Psychic abilities that had not fully depleted and had been used to protect her.
Blush got up onto her feet and started to move further towards the place she had entered while taking slow and stable steps.
Each wave that came through had started to crash into her Psychic protection just like it had done against her mana that protected her.
It was more efficient to use her Psychic powers for simpler tasks like sensing her surroundings but it required far more power and control to be able to keep holding off constant attacks and perform more complicated usages of them.
Some of her psychic energy reserved had already been used up a little and kept dropping as more of a tole was taken on her.
Her feet had finally reached closer towards the exit and took several steps back when around ten percent of her psychic energy was left remaining.
She made a mental note to remember everything that had happened and to make some calculations based on her experience so that the next time could be done much better and she could get the most out of it.
Once her psychic powers had been dispelled, her hair had dropped back down from its floating state and her eyes had lost a little of their brightness.
Blush stepped out of the path of the waves and found a safer place to sit down and rest.
Several containers were pulled out from the lantern that was hung on her waist which had revealed several items that had been prepared ahead of the journey for such occasions.
She ate, drank and meditated using her families modified training method in order to further work on and replenish her used up energies.
The other witches had moved a little into the entrance of the cave but they seemed to mostly take turns aiding each other once one of them had some difficulties then pulled them back.
Once they had took turns resting and giving it another go several times, they had joined Blush for some time until Blush had been back to one hundred percent.
She entered once again and started to gradually take more steps further in each time.
Her limits seemed to keep being pushed through and when she had done so, Blush had found that each time she had entered, the deeper in she had gotten and the longer she had spent inside.
Hours turned to days, days turned to weeks and weeks had turned to a couple of months that had passed by very quickly.
Blush had experienced a lot of growth during that time and had made several trips down the mountain to complete some minor tasks and make sure everything was in order but the main part of her and the others training had started to come to an end.
When she was not too busy and focussed on her training, she went down the mountain to spend some time with the familiars and Coral along with the other witches.
Coral had set up a small spot where she and the familiars had camped so they lived by hunting and living off what nature provided unless Blush had given her some things at times.
It was a way to train herself further just like the witches were facing their own form of training.
