After finishing the books that were available to her, Blush felt that a large portion of her mind had been filled with all kinds of new knowledge.
Some fit with others while others were did not so she sat down and closed her eyes so that she could enter a meditative state.
She started organising her knowledge into different categories and connected some parts together to form something similar to a knowledge or skill tree.
Each thing that she had memorised had started to be slowly comprehended and she started to have her own thoughts and theories that were related to each subject so that helped to expand on what she had learned.
As she had comprehended more, she could feel her understanding of many areas expand greatly and even her comprehension and understanding of the world and magic had increased.
She already had a high understanding of living and non living materials along with all kinds of reactions as materials are combined together or which kinds of animals have certain traits or abilities that were linked to certain genes but that did not always apply to her new world where there were many differences in the living things and the materials around her.
Alchemy or Transmutation was the best route for her to take that worked well with her previous experience and her path in magic so technically she was the most qualified person in the Dragon Ball world to be called a Magical Alchemist.
Some books were on different types of ores or other gems or stones while others were on plants and herbs but others had more details on more ancient techniques that she had never used before.
While she had been able to get by with her own personally made tools and an old cauldron, she still struggled to adjust to a life without her more advanced ones so she had to use her magic to make up for that.
However there was also the option of learning the older techniques and applying them to what she already knows so she can see if they are compatible with her use of magic. 'Hmm.. I doubt the people here can make pure and round pills within a blazing cauldron like those martial arts novels but they would still use those types of methods before more efficient methods were used. I am pretty sure that they grind up the herbs and mix them together and heat them.. they will add water and then remove them, remove the dregs or burnt parts and then shape the pill or pills with what remains. There is also blacksmithing! I want to go see!'
There were all types of things within the Dragon Ball world that had included the power pole, magic beans and potential unlocking water so magical pills or food along with tools or weapons were more than possible if the right methods were used to create them.
Blush had thought that she had found a suitable goal for herself so that she could build something greater than them with her own magic.
She excitedly ran out of the shop and left behind some words. "Old man, thanks again! By the way, if you want mire customers then it may be possible for others to gain interest through reading the books for a set price. If you are worried about the damage to the books then you can hire someone to copy them and the copies can be read by those who have come to read. If they damage those books then they can still pay a penalty fee since you may have to hire someone to make another copy. Hope your business goes well!"
The old man shouted. "Damn kid! Do not tell me how to do my business! No nosy!"
However after he had thought about it, he had sighed. "Maybe she was right but I have nobody that would be willing to do that."
Blush had soon arrived at the herb and medicine store where she had met a middle aged man who had asked. "Selling or buying?"
She replied calmly as she placed a small packet on the table which had grounded herbs within. "I want to sell these ground herbs, you should be able to recognise their effects and the ingredients used. If possible, I would like to browse what kind of information you may have on herbs and medicines but also the techniques used. I would also like to buy a wider variety of herbs."
The man sighed. "You are really making this difficult for me, I will do the others first but you had better have enough to pay for this."
Blush flicked a coin onto the desk and nodded. "Of course."
The man started to show that he was annoyed by her as if he did not wish to do what he was tasked with.
The medicinal liquids, soups and herbal mixtures could not be so easily sold due to their high worth and because they were probably too advanced.
An unskilled tradesman would not be able to recognise its worth and even if it was noticed, they may try to pass it off as something cheap and try to buy it for less money due to her age.
They would probably say that she was an unskilled kid so the herbs or quality had been damaged or something similar to help buy it cheaper.
As she had expected, he had came back with books on the basics of herb grounding, using a cauldron to make pills and medicinal liquids but also many other basic books which showed that he had greatly underestimated her.
Blush still remained calm as she received the books and she looked at the covers. "I have already read this, this and this one. I want more advanced ones instead."
The man had become even more annoyed as he stormed off but he kept a close eye on her in case she was up to no good.
Since she had already found a copy of some of the books that he brought inside the book store, she did not need many of what he had brought but she expected the good stuff to still be kept within the store.
If someone wanted to find more specialised information then they would have to go where that information was centred around and medicine was often around herbal or medicine stores during the past times until they evolved into more public hospitals and pharmacies.
There would also be those that would keep and pass down their own recipes or family techniques but they were more difficult to track down so she had to settle for the present option available to her.
During the time that she waited, she had sent out a wave of mana in the surroundings to gather information within the store.
Once she had found something interesting, she had locked upon a single area and her mana kept detecting the movements and changes there.
An amused smile appeared on her face. 'Indeed this world is fun. Watching something being done is always better than reading about it even if there may be some pictures or diagrams included.'
