"Excuse me, we want to order three fruit pancakes and three spaghetti carbonara. For the drink, I wanted orange juice … what did you want Yuri?" Portia looked up at Yuri who was sitting across the table. The little girl was sparkling with joy, as if she had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
"I want a milkshake!"
"Fine, one milkshake and Diane?" She turned to Diane, to which the woman replied with a gentle expression.
"Just orange juice, please," She said.
"Well. Two orange juices and one milkshake. That's all we ordered." She passed the menu back to the café maid and was given a friendly face.
