"Aunt, forgot to introduce someone more special, well this is my fiancée, Julie", he gave her a hand and she stood while the whole family clapped. Their clapping was more energetic than earlier, because they were all stunned by this introduction. He continued while looking into her eyes, "Julie is the best thing that ever happened to me, she's the reason why much things about me have changed, she's the light that came to brighten up my dark world, and I can't wait to make her my wife", he pulled her for a kiss which wasn't short.
They were more amazed by this and increased their clapping, they never thought someone would ever change this kind of man, they looked at her like she was a goddess and they didn't stop clapping because she was now an important member of the family.
Diane couldn't stop herself from frowning, no matter how much she managed to mask it all she felt more irritated. Aunt Maggie, on the other hand felt embarrassed but she pretended like she was happy for them and also joined in clapping.
Soon, the night was over and the family were in their rooms including the two announced couples.
Julie couldn't stop herself from looking around while sitting on the sofa. She couldn't hide the fact that she admire the room. It was a huge one, it looked more to her like eight huge rooms merged together.
"Aren't you tired of looking at every corners of my room, a million times?", He asked while working on his PC. Julie felt embarrassed whilst caught in the act, she didn't see him take his eyes off the computer, still wondering how he noticed, she responded "No!, who told you I was doing that?".
He leaned closer to her while staring at her and said, "So, do you want to tell me you don't like my room??".
Julie felt she could hardly breathe with him in that position, in order for him to move away, she had to reply soon, so she replied "I would have liked it but why one colour for everything in the room?".
"Black is my favorite, do you have a problem with that?" he asked, this time he had gone back to working on his PC.
She didn't say a thing, she was now embracing the air that blew on her. He didn't mind whether he got a response or not but he just said "Since you are my fiancée for now, it yours temporarily, you can make some changes but it always gonna be black". "I won't because I'm clearly not permitted to change anything in the room", she replied irritatedly.
A knock came from the door, Julie was just coming out of the shower when she heard the door. Damien had already gotten the door. Julie could hear a feminine voice saying "Ehn sorry, wrong door!, I thought it was my room".
"okay", was his response to this.
Julie knew immediately who's voice it was when she heard it, she felt more irritated at her excuse.
As the person at the door turned to go, she acted like she sprained her ankle and called to Damien for help.
Julie had gone to see who it was after reasoning on why a normal being would knock on a door which she thought it's hers, just like she knew already, it was Diane.
She walked furiously to the door and volunteered to help. She bent down while speaking in an angelic tone, "Diane, I'm so sorry, you know what keep calm, I'll help you, I'm a very good masseuse".
Julie touched her foot aggressively and made sure she sprained the foot. Diane refused countless time but Julie didn't adhere. Julie was satisfied with what she did when Diane made a loud cry. After that, Julie said, "That's it, it's better now but you will find it hard to walk for now, well it for the better, so you'd not find yourself in the wrong place". Diane couldn't stop herself from appreciating her for the dangerous treatment she received, after all she asked for it.
Damien felt satisfied and he didn't stop himself from telling Diane that she could come by for more, before slamming the door.
Diane went to her room leaping in pain and agony as she silently threw curses at Julie and swore to repay her for worse.
