In a forest, a boy could be seen running fast and jumping around while lunching attacks midair on the targets. Some of the projectiles hit and one of the jutsu he released destroyed a tree.
Ranmaru landed to the ground and launched another projectiles covertly under his sleeves, skewering the tree thirteen meters away. He back flipped a few times and released another jutsu while upside down in midair. When he landed, he dashed again and he drew a kunai and slashed at a targeted tree, and the tree faraway exploded like the first one with his jutsu.
Ranmaru jumped again to the tree after the slash and jumped to the trees after trees with dexterity and deftness. He did flips and he swings like a monkey, landing to another tree with another flip. He stopped and applied chakra to his foot to stick while upside down. He removed the chakra on his foot and freefall to the ground, and landed on his foot after doing a flip.
Ranmaru stopped and he rested. He looked around the training ground and it was a mess, he questioned himself.
"How the hell does the trees in this world still exist if the shinobis train like this every time and everyday? Is it because of the abundant natural energy? Hmmmm if that's the case, I can see why the trees are so big and there are many mythical creatures in this world."
"If I can access this power, it would be great. Pity I can't sense natural energy yet. Summoning scrolls are rare and it's hard to get a contract beast even if you have a scroll if they deem you unworthy of their trust and lacks strength. Naturally I would not try it myself, I don't want to turn into a stone." Ranmaru dusted his clothes and walked to his home. Since learning a few useful ninjutsu he always trained every night after work and he sometimes experiment on making new seals. Seals however are very difficult to make especially from scratch. He optimized the touch of death seals a few times already which reduce the chakra amount and simplified the activation.
Until now, he still cannot create new seals so he was planning on obtaining some scrolls after leaving here. Life continued to move on like this everyday and nothing eventful happened.

"It has been almost six years since I arrived here. Time sure flies fast. I thought that I would leave the village two years ago and I felt ready."
With his training, Ranmaru felt that he is already mid genin in strength so he was a little confident. Although it was too slow, he did not mind as he liked this pace where he is not in a hurry, instead of overworking himself. Also adding to the fact that he did not have a teacher and books to read about shinobi things proved that he is talented. Naruto and his team stayed at school for a few years but graduated with only a genin strength. So with Ranmaru's progress, he was already very satisfied and proud of himself. He also did not go out this past few years for missions and espionage, although he was confident he was not reckless. What if he got trapped and was surrounded by shinobi's, he could handle one or two genin but a group, no thanks. But if it were bandits without shinobi training, even if they are fifty as long as they can't catch and immobilize him, they will surely die in his hands.
A few months back, he met with Rock Lee who collapsed from exhaustion near the Curry of Life shop while he was having a marathon with Might Guy. Rock Lee was helped by Gandma Sho by feeding him curry which had saved his life. Ranmaru was not excited in meeting them because he knew that he won't learn much from the two unless they showed him how to activate the gates. During their stay, they only did weight training which disappointed Ranmaru even more. Lee and Karashi got closer and became friends because Karashi was attracted to Lee's dedication. They left after a few days of recuperating and continued with their normal operation.
"Was I too attached to Grandma Sho and Karashi? They already know of my plans on leaving this village and they supported me with my decision." Ranmaru was conflicted. Now that he remembered that Raiga was coming, he just can't leave them here and he had to stop Karashi from joining Raiga like in the anime.
"I am just worried, when Raiga comes back and I am not here something may happen. Even though I am not his match, I still want to do my best to protect them both." Ranmaru stood up from the huge rock he was leaning on. He was on top of a larger rock watching the sunrise. He dusted his pants and he jumped from the rock falling in a fifteen meters drop and landed on his foot like nothing happened.
Ranmaru arrived to his house. He went in front of the mirror and looked at himself. He had grown taller and stands at one hundred thirty eight centimeters, quite tall for a kid in his age, he is also a lot taller than the anime Ranmaru. It might be because of him siphoning vitality from the bandits and from the animals in the forest. He also cut his hair short as it gets on his eyes sometimes if he don't tie it in a ponytail. Ranmaru now could be mistaken as ten year old to twelve year old kid. He was happy with this change as he hates it being called a kid because mentally he is almost at his thirty adding to his previous life's age.
Ranmaru decided to make plans and wait for Raiga's arrival again for the second time after he defected from Kirigakure no sato. He planned to hide and wait for Naruto and Neji's team to arrive here and let them deal with Raiga. Ranmaru had confidence that he can escape Raiga's perception and hide as a normal civilian while he waits. This may take from a few months to a year if his estimate is correct. At that time, Naruto already graduated and have also dealt with Zabuza and Haku and had completed a few B rank Missions.
After two months of waiting Raiga finally has arrived. It was midday already when he heard the news of his arrival. All of the people of the Katabami Gold Mine village were ordered to gather around at the village chief's house as there were new announcements that the village chief wanted to make.
Ranmaru arrived at the place early and masked his chakra signature to match that of a civilian. He looked around the area for a strong chakra presence and sensed one at the village chief's house. He also observed few bodies lying around inside without any life force. They probably resisted him and end up dead.
"Nothing good will happen if you oppose a lunatic with a powerful strength that's for sure."
Ranmaru waited for a few more minutes until all villagers arrived at the site. When they all gathered, the village chief came out of his house while his face was pale and he was trembling a little. The villagers looked at the chief and inquired of what this is all about. The chief hesitated for a moment of what to say to his people, but he gritted his teeth and finally spoke.
"I have gathered you all here because there are some new changes going to happen in our village. First of all I will abdicate my position as the village chief of Katabami Gold Mine Village and someone will replace me which I will introduce to you all later.
"What?!!why?!!" the villagers were shocked at the sudden announcement of the chief abdicating. They could not understand why, so they barraged him with question. The chief waited for the people to calm down and then he talked again after they settled.
"I know you have a lot of questions but I will answer them later. The next thing is that we will now be under a clan of mister Raiga which will also be the new chief of the village."
"Woahh!!what??!!Who? Why is ga…" The villagers were in an uproar. They did not even know who this Raiga is and where he came from. While the villagers where still discussing, a man with tall stature with long green hair stepped out from the chief's house. The villagers felt something was wrong and their hearts were palpitating as if a great danger were approaching them. Raiga stood at the elevated platform next to the village chief with his arms crossed while looking down at the people below. With his imposing aura and the kiba blades behind his back, he immediately caught the attention of the people. The people's chattering came to a halt and looked at him with curiosity and fear because of his presence. Raiga stood there for a few moments until the chattering stopped, he finally talked.
"Listen you fools!! I will be your new chief and this gold mine will belong to me alone and all of you will work for me. I will build my clan here which will take after my name, Kurosuki. Any form of disobedience will be met with death, like being buried alive. Is that clear?!! Raiga fully unleashed his aura to the villagers and some of them passed out directly while others soiled their pants and their feet's trembling. They didn't dare to look at him in the eye so they just bowed their heads. A middle aged man however did not accept it and raised a complaint and said that he will report this to the bigger villages. The middle aged man was met with a quick death when a kunai suddenly penetrated his head, splashing blood and brain fluids to the person next to him.
The villagers cried out in alarm and was ready to run away but it was as if their feet's were shackled by an invisible force and they can't move even a millimeter. It was a full suppression coming from Raiga's aura, which is his killing intent combined with his chakra, creating a domain of fear around him. With Raiga's massive amount of chakra as a Jonin added with his countless massacres, the aura he released had the possibility to even kill weak and old people.
"As I said, all who go against me will be met with the same fate. Death." Raiga said threatheningly.
Ranmaru hid in the crowd, he had a cold sweat drenching his back a little and his palms were clenched tightly. Fortunately he is not discovered and he just looked ordinary in Raiga's eyes.
When most of the people were distracted, some of the villagers stood up and came close to the stage where Raiga is. "let me serve under you." "Take me in." "Me too." "I will join you." Those who came, kneeled and asked Raiga to take them in.
Raiga looked at them in disdain but accepted their service nonetheless. He can't manage this village alone without the help of some goons. The villagers who joined were ecstatic and excited. Now they have status in the village and soon people will look up to them in envy. They just had to lick this big thigh and follow all his orders to obtain some benefits. Some of the villagers looked at them in anger, others just didn't care.
Fortunately, Karashi wasn't one of them, yet. Ranmaru looked at Karashi who was obviously distracted as if he is struggling on his mind, a few moments later he sighed and just bowed his head like all other villagers. This gave Ranmaru a relief, he will talk to Karahi later about this and persuade him to stay away from Raiga.
