Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

*Y/N' POV*

Mark and I arrived at his residence. I was astounded by how lovely his home was. "Wow... Your house is stunning!" I was taken aback. "Thank you," Mark said, laughing. When we entered the house, I smelled roast beef, and it smelled AMAZING! "Who's making the roast beef sandwiches?" I exclaimed, gasping in delight. After I said that, my stomach began to churn. Mark laughed, and I heard a giggle from somewhere in the house. "My mother has come to see me. So I asked if she could make some roast beef in the slow cooker "Mark gave me a look and led me to the kitchen. I followed with a smile. When we entered, Mark's mother turned around and greeted us. "Marrkk!" She exclaimed, hugging him. She turned to face me after I smiled. "Hello Marks mom, my name is Y/N," I said, extending my hand. She grabbed it and drew me into a hug. "How are you doing?" She inquired as I returned her hug. "I'm fine, how about you?" "I'm doing well. Are you Mark's new pal? Mark, when is your first date?" Mark chuckled as he faced plumbed. "No, we're not talking Mom. We only recently met. She is currently going through a breakup, and I didn't want her to be alone." He stated calmly. "I'm so sorry! Is it truly that bad?" Momiplier explained. I looked down, unwilling to discuss it further. She just nodded and didn't say anything.

"Anyway, my name is Sunok." She laughed. I returned the smile and spoke, "Yeah, I'm a big fan of Mark. So, I've noticed you in a few of his videos." She gave a nod. "Is it okay if I refer to you as momiplier? I'm used to hearing and addressing you as such." I cracked a smile. "Of course!" says one. She returned my smile with a warm one. "Well, I'm going to show her where her room is, and then we'll go eat," "All right, I'll set up the table." Momiplier explained.

As Mark led me to my room so I can set my stuff down, I spoke, "So, where's Amy?" He cleared his throat. "We also broke up. But it was a few days ago. I just haven't gotten the time to tell everyone as I'm still recovering." I gasped in disbelief, "Omg! What happened?" I asked. "She never told me why she wanted too," "I feel like that so unlike her. I genuinely thought you both were gonna get married and have kids. I'm sorry Mark." I spoke putting my stuff down once we got in the guest bedroom. I gave him a big hug. "It's ok, we can get through our breakups together tonight," he laughed. I laughed along, "yeah we will." We went into the kitchen and served ourselves. We then sat down in the dining room and started to eat.

"So, where's Amy?" I asked as Mark led me to my room to put my belongings. He swallowed and cleared his throat. "We also split up. But that was only a few days ago. I just haven't had the chance to tell everyone because I'm still recovering." "Omg! What happened?" I exclaimed in disbelief. ""She never told me why she wanted to," "It's so unlike her. I honestly believed you two were going to marry and have children. I apologize, Mark." I spoke while putting my belongings down in the guest bedroom. I hugged him tightly. "It's okay, we can get through our breakups tonight," he joked. "Yeah, we will," I laughed. We went into the kitchen and ordered our food. We then sat in the dining room and began to eat.

"Tell us about yourself," Momiplier suggested. I cleared my throat and spoke, "Well, I'm a band director at both the high school and middle school, I also live stream on Twitch and upload videos whenever I feel inspired to do so. My age is 28 years. I had a difficult life. My father died when I was almost five years old. I lost my sister when I was seventeen, was taken from my mother the day before my 12th or 13th birthday, and then lost three more people in my early twenties. After graduating from high school, I attended college to pursue a music education degree before moving up here and now I'm here." I said this while smiling. "Wow, my apologies. How does it feel to be out here?" Mark inquired. "I love it here," I said with a smile. "Everyone here is so friendly." Mark grinned. "That's great." I told them more about myself and got to know Mark and his family better. I've never learned so much about someone or their family in a single night because it felt like hours had passed. I discovered that Mark and I had a few things in common.

We started getting ready for bed after we finished eating and talking. I entered the guest bedroom and sat down on the bed. I sighed and went deep in thought. When Mark came in, it snapped me out of my reverie. "Are you okay, Y/N?" Mark inquired. "Yeah, I'm fine," I said, nodding and smiling. "There was a lot that happened today." "I understand." Mark sat beside me. He hugged me tightly, and I hugged him back. "Many thanks, Mark." It means a lot to me. "I really mean it." As we parted ways, I looked at Mark. "Of course, I didn't want you to be alone, and you do something that will break your family's heart. I went to Tyler's house a couple of days ago because I didn't want to be alone in my thoughts. But I hope it made you feel better to know that you are not alone in your suffering and that someone cares. If you require an additional night or two. You certainly can. I'm not bothered at all." I chuckled. "Thank you very much, Mark." "I really appreciate it." Mark placed his hand on my shoulder and squeezed it lightly before leaving the room. "Goodnight, Y/N; see you in the morning." "Mark, good night." I changed into my PJs and went to bed. I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Everything will be ok...
