"Ha! Brother, some idiot mortal just tried to complete The Summoners Tears ritual!"
"What?! which of us did they try to sacrifice? That ritual hasn't been completed in millenia."
"It appears they mistranslated. The mortals no longer know our father by the name The Summoner, the one performing the ritual sacrificed his own son."
"Do you know what that will do? Mortals cannot become Dungeons, they haven't the mental fortitude necessary for an eternity with no body or means of communication."
"I haven't the slightest idea. Something happened though, I felt the tremors of the power that was generated. I have a feeling whatever happened will be entertaining, we should go look for ourselves"
____________
The Summoner watched as the soul of a boy began to be crushed into a Dungeon core. He could feel the incompatibility in the magic. On a whim, instead of allowing it to continue and just kill the boy he decided to intervene and reconstruct the soul. It would be an interesting experiment.
____________
Everyone in the area with a sense of essence cowered in fear as a projection of a man made out of pure essence materialized above the scene of the ritual. It reached into the conglomeration of Essence containing the soul of Matias and he inverted it. Instead of locking the soul of a human in a dungeon core, he placed the dungeon core into the very soul of the human and then shoved that back into the corpse. To stabilize his creation he had to heal the body, as well as reconfiguring the meridians so that the power of the dungeon core would not kill the boy. These meridians are blocked, so the body wouldn't explode from an influx of power. With his latest experiment stabilized, he dematerialized and allowed the remainder of the ritual magic to run its course.
