Weeks later:
Apollo narrating:
I still remember our first kiss, Cybele, my hands were sweating profusely, and my whole body was shaking, then your friend came by and spilled Coke all over your dress, and you were a beast.
Bad time to try to steal a kiss from you," I thought. But I was mesmerized by you that night, maybe it was the way you tossed your hair, or the way you smiled when I was near. So I went in and took a chance, and it was the softest lips and the best feeling I've ever tasted.
It was like eating my mother's cake, studying biology, and teaching mathematics, things I loved to do...
I just know, Cibele, that all the noise and commotion of that party became null when you looked at me, it was as if nobody was there.
And then my heart seemed to go out of my mouth when you stopped the kiss, and put your hands around my neck and sat on my lap, saying that you had been waiting for me to do this all night. We were 15 years old and already in love.
❝Cybele many of our conversations and thoughts are hanging on the walls of my room. Our first 'I love you' whispered under your blanket. Every fight, every interrupted argument, every sincere affection. Here is written your fear and my hope, and a thousand sentences scribbled and underlined on these walls. Our love is in every fiber of you and me.❞
And in these weeks I couldn't be happier to have her back.
The day flew by and I was excited for the surprise I was going to do, I'm not sure if it was something special it wasn't very honestly I don't know if she would say no.
I am in front of the outdoor parking lot of the agency where my love has come to be interviewed, I hope Alexia can do her part in the plan. I see her come down and see me standing in front.
- You are even more beautiful than yesterday. - I say looking at her, with narrowed eyes I analyze her.
Cybele gives me a smile,
- Hi. - She pushes her hair away from her face, and puts her hands together. - I came to get the scarf Alexia forgot!
I giggle. - Don't you understand? There is no scarf! - I scratch the side of my forehead. - I'm here because you've been so stressed out these past few weeks, and rightfully so, I've thought of something.
She takes a deep breath and a tear falls from her eyes. - I love how you always notice everything about me - She blinks a lot and wipes her eyes, I come closer and my eyes meet hers.
Thrilled, she hugs him.
My hands go to her soft cheeks and she smiles broadly.
- I understand everything you're going through! No need to cry, I'm surprised.
- You know, I don't deserve you. - She walks away, leaning against the car.
She lowers her head and tries to pull away, I take her gently in my arms. With my hand on her chin I lift her head, and she looks at me with those eyes I'm in love with.
- You know, I always wonder, why me? When you could have anyone. - I see your eyes shine.
- Because all the others have a defect, they are not you. And that is an unforgivable defect. - I'm sure my eyes light up as I see her smile wide.
She looks at me and brings our faces closer together. She kissed me urgently, I felt the longing all these months apart, we both acted as if we were making up for so much time away from each other.
She kissed me with intensity on her warm lips that kissed me with desire, I took my hands to her waist and stopped the kiss to admire her and look at her, realize if this was real.
- I'm in love with you.
I don't let her finish her sentence and concentrate on kissing her. One of my hands runs up the back of her neck, into her soft hair as I kiss her. I feel a light drizzle of rain on me, and then more falls.
But I don't care and neither does she. The sound of rain soon comes, along with a strong wind. I wrap my arms around my girl's waist and twist her around, she gives a little shout of joy and looks me in the eyes. I feel my wet hair falling over my forehead, I feel a little cold.
Our breaths get faster and faster as our mouths meet, she stops the kiss and I catch her smiling silly with her face wet from the rain.
I take her in my lap and she entwines her legs around my waist, I lose my breath and don't want that moment to dissipate.
My chest beams with happiness, I open the widest smile in the world inside me and as it grows and outwardly defines the dimples on my face.
I carry her still with my legs around my waist under the side where there is a ceiling.
- I want to call you to come to the Zaquintos with me tonight. To get away from it all for a while. Are you in?
His mouth opened in an expression of surprise and he frowned. - What do you mean? I can't go to the Zaquintos with you! I didn't even pack a suitcase... And there's my son, my new projects... - She put her hand to her forehead.
- Today is Monday! It would only be for the weekend, and your suitcase is in the car Athena packed. And don't worry, she said she will talk to Rafael every day and read the stories you read to them at the incubator, I visited him myself this morning. And I certainly want him to come next time. - I laugh and run my hand through his hair. - Please, we deserve this.
- This is crazy. But.... - She bites her lips, running her hand over her blouse. - I can't believe I'm going to say this, but, yes! Let's go. Take me far away from here.
And this left me speechless, my heart throbbing with joy, and I gathered her more on my lap and bit the curvature of her shoulder, and she distributed a kiss on my neck.
I lead her to the car, and we got in, soaked from the rain we had taken. She looked back and recognized her pink flamingo suitcase on the back seat.
- Did you have everything planned?
- Actually, it all happened very quickly. - I run my hand over her face and turn toward her, letting go of the steering wheel.
- And you can go three days without going to the marine center? - She stretches her legs out on the car seat.
I tuck a lock of her hair behind her ear. - Believe me, with the accumulated overtime I have, I could take a three-month vacation.
I love what I do but I need some time off, and from now on I just want to think about this weekend with her. I start the car and drive out of the parking lot, smiling to the four winds because I have my love in my arms again.

Narrador off in book.
They arrived at the end of the night, driving the fastest.
Zakynthos is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea and a popular summer resort. Very private, tourists didn't know much about that airline.
Valentina looked at that blue immensity of the sea and fell in love with the energy of the people. He stopped the car in front of a small, more charming pier, which faced the sea.
'I've never been here!' It's so private it's beautiful. I can't believe this yacht is ours," she said excitedly, hands in her hair.
"I come here to rest. It's new I bought it a few months ago now I'm willing to make it our little corner." He smiled and put one hand on his hip while the other held the suitcase. She kissed his forehead.
His heart in love and full of longing could not take the happiness. He approached and walked over to her.
He reached for her, inside the yacht, he picked her up. AND
despite being adults and having known him for a lifetime, there was a certain nervousness in the two of them. Cybele turned the knob to the cozy little bedroom, and he wasn't lying when he said the view was beautiful. He felt like he was in a movie.
- My goodness! - He said in a thin voice. - Is too beautiful.
He walked to the balcony that the room had. He put the suitcases on the floor and walked over there, arrived and hugged her from behind and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"You deserve the best, my love!"
The boat rocked slowly, he turned away from the view and faced it. Her bodies were close, she leaned against the glass railing of the porch.
His eyes sparkled as he heard each word, their hearts pounded, in tune with joy.
If she approached slowly, her lips met for a slow start to a kiss. His hands roamed over every part of her body, she brought her hand to his face. He bent his head and kissed her eyes, her nose, kissed all over her neck.
She let out a low, tickling laugh. Her hands a little shaky go inside his shirt, she felt his abdomen while her eyes didn't get distracted from the sight of the other. She took off her shirt slowly.
And she sighed, the blonde took her hands and brought her into the room.
He smiled wide, listening to the sweet voice of the one he loves so much. And she felt safe in those arms. Her words only served to ignite his desire and want more. The brunette took off his clothes slowly, admiring every part of her body.
"You are without a doubt the best choice of my life. He laid her down on the bed slowly and got on top of her, making the bed sag. - You are so Beautiful.
Cybele confessed quietly as if telling a secret. Your most beautiful secret. She bit his chin quickly.
The blonde brushed the hair from her neck and kissed her, whispered in her ear how much he loved her scent.
There was so much love and desire in their eyes as they unveiled every part of each other's bodies. Her racing heart begged for more.
Cybele closed her eyes feeling her breath quicken, his voice sweet in her ear.
Her skins prickled from the sea breeze that entered the room. His gentle touch on her shoulders took her dress off.
This was love, their fingerprints etched into each other's skin. The brunette trailed kisses through her body, making her lose her mind and nibbles her lips.
All that love was the certainty, of how to look at the universe and see the immensity.
The two felt a mixture of pleasure and love. It was like mixing their essences, there was a meeting of souls. And in the most perfect setting that could exist, facing the sea, they made love and it was beautiful.
She lay on top of him, brought her hand right up to his face admiring him. She felt his heart pounding. Her hair was messy, and he closed his eyes thinking he's dreaming, but he opened them.
Both slept wishing that all this was eternal.
