She laughs as she sees the head of the man she once loved roll to the ground. She sighs blissfully as her foot breaks his fingers. She watches as he crumbles to the ground before her, as she once did before him. She looks down on him as he begs for mercy, though it's the last thing she will ever grant him. She slices his neck and sees his expression of pain. She grins in pleasure as she sees fear in his eyes. Fear that she has invoked.
Her hands tremble, sword in hand. She has second thoughts about killing the vile man and then remembers the feeling of a blade around her neck and the nightmares that plagued her each and every night. Then she enjoys the screams of the man in front of her. She kills the king before his throne with delight.
She wakes up in a jolt. The events seemed to have been a dream. Oh, how she wishes this were true. She grips the satin sheets as she thinks about the king dying before her. She smiles at the thought. He won't know what will come his way. She lies down on her bed, quickly falling into a peaceful slumber.
The man will die, and she will get her revenge.
What she may seek shall be found, for she is the woman borne to revenge.
