Niccolò Machiavelli believed that power is divided into 3 the King, the nobles and the people.
I very much agree and appreciate with his ideas, but I would like to add the military.
Some can say that the military is among the people King or nobles, but I will take them as their own separate entity.
If I remember correctly, they controlled many countries at one point in time.
For example, Turkey after the death of Ataturk and Russia.
Some people actually ignore them and pretend it was the force of the King, but the King was a general or a commander before he became King.
