Meanwhile, in the Royal Capital of the Metal Empire, the Emperor sat on his throne, looking troubled.
Multiple reports from his intelligence department indicated that other regions were being besieged by the enemy, and they were at a disadvantage.
In one region, a handsome man leading strong assassins and numerous undead creatures had almost destroyed half of it.
The relentless onslaught had caused many soldiers to lose their fighting spirit, as the enemy seemed inexhaustible.
Each fallen soldier only added to the number of undead, further overwhelming the defenders.
In another region, the Emperor Muller himself was battling against two dukes and an archdemon.
They were inside Emperor Muller's domain for an extended time, yet it showed no signs of weakening.
This meant that Muller could still fight them head-on without being at a disadvantage, which shocked the Emperor.
Even though Muller was stronger than him before he accepted the power of demons, Muller should not have been strong enough to fight an archdemon whom even he couldn't defeat.
But that wasn't the most shocking part. While Muller was restrained, the soldiers of the Metal Empire should have had an advantage in numbers.
Yet, soldiers had been turned into pills, and those from the Lightning Empire kept reviving, astonishing the battlefield.
Muller couldn't believe what he heard. He had never encountered such a crazy technique that could turn anyone into a pill and miraculously revive anyone on the battlefield.
Adding to his gloom, a terrifying enemy had single-handedly destroyed an entire region, obliterating everything and sparing no living beings.
The region was left in ruins, and even the two dukes and the archdemon disappeared like a bubble.
All he knew from his spy was that the devastation was caused by a man named Xegron, who spared one soldier to deliver a message to the Emperor: he must surrender because Xegron's master was coming for him.
This news shocked the Emperor. He hadn't expected that one man could kill the archdemon, the two dukes, and millions of soldiers.
"Argh! Useless, all of them are useless!" the Metal Emperor roared, destroying everything in sight.
It took a lot of effort from the butlers to calm him down.
The Emperor finally managed to calm himself, feeling fear as he realized he had almost lost control and his wrath had nearly overtaken him.
"Emperor, come out."
Just as he was about to rest, a voice echoed through the entire royal castle, astonishing everyone.
They couldn't believe someone was arrogant enough to demand the Emperor's presence.
"Who is that bastard who dares to disrespect the Emperor?"
"How dare he!"
The head eunuch, a Transcendental being, flew into the sky to confront the audacious intruder.
"Who are you?" the eunuch demanded, looking at the handsome man before him.
The man's aura dazed the eunuch momentarily, making him realize he had lost his composure just from the celestial aura alone.
"Oh, are you the emperor? If not, get lost dickless shit."
Dave smiled before punching the eunuch, who, shocked and attempting to escape, turned into a mist of blood in an instant.
Everyone witnessed the scene, not expecting that the head eunuch, an expert and a pillar of their empire, would die so easily.
Dave planned to spare those who weren't demonized, but the eunuch had hidden a deep killing intent and had also accepted the power of demons.
"Hey, metal bastard, are you coming out or not?"
Dave's arrogant voice echoed throughout the place, suffocating everyone with its intensity.
"Imbecile."
Suddenly, a thin man appeared out of thin air, holding a green sword, facing Dave's aura without backing down.
He had short black hair, stood 5'10", and exuded a domineering presence.
His aura reached 49 soul flowers, and he wore majestic robes signifying his high position in the empire.
"You dare challenge the Metal Emperor?" the man declared, his voice cold and filled with authority.
Behind him, millions of soldiers marched, following his lead.
"Duke Richlie is here! Finally, that guy can't be arrogant any longer," some nobles murmured in relief, knowing that the head of the dukes had appeared.
When he arrived, everything would be alright.
His prestige was high, only slightly lower than that of the emperor.
"Oh, this empire is truly stronger than the others,"
Dave remarked, impressed. The Lightning Empire only had five Transcendental beings, and Muller, at his peak, was even weaker than the duke in front of him.
This was because Duke Richlie had also accepted the power of demons to enhance himself.
"Your arrogance will be your downfall,"
Duke Richlie declared, his voice filled with authority and menace. His green sword gleamed menacingly as he prepared to face Dave.
"Oh, another ant who wants to die. Looks like I need to kill a lot of people to force that emperor of yours out,"
Dave said with a smile, not taking the duke seriously.
Seeing his attitude, Duke Richlie became furious and rushed at Dave, determined to teach him a lesson.
"Die!"
Swoosh!
His sword slashed at Dave, but as he appeared near him, Duke Richlie felt his vision rotate.
He realized he had been beheaded before he could react.
Shocked, he didn't die immediately. Instead, blood gushed from his severed neck, and his head reattached perfectly.
"Oh, you're tenacious, huh? Interesting,"
Dave remarked, waving his hand. Suddenly, a gravitational force pulled the Duke's body, rendering him unable to control it.
"Arghh."
The Duke was pulled forcefully, his neck now held by Dave, who observed him like a toy.
"Is this all the mighty Duke Richlie can do?"
Dave taunted, his grip tightening around the Duke's neck.
"If this is the best your empire has to offer, I might be disappointed."
"Oh, the Head of Dukes is just so-so,"
Dave chuckled, his voice echoing in the silence that had fallen over the soldiers.
They were petrified, unable to believe what they were seeing.
The Duke they worshipped was like a helpless chicken in front of this young man, who was arrogantly flaunting his power within their empire.
Duke Richlie was horrified. He wanted to unleash his full demonic power, but he realized he couldn't control his body, and his demonic energy was acting erratically, as if it were wary of the man in front of him.
"A pity, you followed the wrong emperor," Dave said, shaking his head.
Duke Richlie's eyes widened in shock, but before he could react, a small black hole formed, swallowing his entire body and converting his life essence into nourishment.
The Duke's existence was erased in an instant, leaving the soldiers and onlookers in stunned silence.
