Chapter 388-Kirito and the egg
Dave then gathered his energy, and every corpse was suddenly covered by his death energy, following the same process he used when creating Xegron.
All the bodies turned into meat paste and were compressed in one direction.
The flesh and dark energy started to mold, and Dave could hear the unwilling souls of other people.
However, Dave didn't care about it and continued the process.
After 10 minutes, a strong aura appeared, causing a larger commotion than when he created Xegron.
After a huge explosion of energy, a formidable aura appeared in front of Dave, definitely stronger than that of a True Saint.
Being in his own space world, he would not be targeted by the purple lightning tribulation, as his space was isolated from the universe.
He could cultivate here without constraints, unlike on the Immortal plane, which only allowed True Saints.
He had gone to his father earlier to ask if he wanted to train here, but he was busy, and Dave also realized that he had never told his father about his space world.
His father had been busy training in the blood pool in the Ancestor's Sacred Ground.
Roaar!
An energy, probably the strongest he had ever felt, emerged.
The image of the undead he created was based on his imagination and various references.
He aimed for this new undead to have the appearance of a scholar, yet lethal, as he didn't want to recreate a muscular figure like Xegron.
He also had the authority to decide their genders and chose to create another male, understanding that his women might misunderstand his intentions if he were to make a female undead.
Suddenly, a man stood at 5'9 feet tall.
He wasn't overly muscular, but his body wasn't overly skinny either.
It was a normal build, yet he radiated an aura much stronger than Dave's other subordinates.
While Dave had used the body of a Divine Monarch, he created a monster at the low-tier of a Heavenly Sovereign.
However, it wasn't enough to make Dave feel threatened.
This lack of threat was either due to the subordinate status or simply Dave's lack of concern towards a Heavenly Sovereign.
The man's face was based on Kirito's from Sword Art Online, but he had yellow hair and black eyes.
He immediately retracted his aura upon seeing Dave, recognizing Dave as his creator and understanding that he couldn't betray him.
This loyalty was ingrained in his mind, prompting him to kneel respectfully.
Despite his higher cultivation, he could still sense the threat emanating from Dave's body.
"Master, please give this humble slave a name," the man asked.
Dave was satisfied with his attitude, knowing that his undead creations were very loyal, although their personalities could differ.
Troublesome individuals might arise, and if this new creation proved to be arrogant, Dave was prepared to demonstrate his authority.
"Hmm, as the god of naming, you shall be called Kirito."
"You will be the vice leader of the undead soldiers in the future, and you must also respect your leader Xegron, even if he is weaker than you right now,"
Dave explained. "Currently, only the two of you are in that squad, but in the future, you can create undead to add to your troops."
"He was not that smart, but you will be the one to assist him."
"The truth is, I could make Xegron stronger if I gave him the body of that Divine Monarch, but I granted you that blessing, so don't let me down," Dave added.
Kirito nodded with respect and replied, "I thank you, Master, for naming me. Don't worry, I will assist the leader in building the undead squad in the future."
He listened to all of his master's commandments and swore to serve him with all his heart.
Dave didn't call Xegron because he felt that he was in a mysterious state after his evolution, and he didn't know what place Xegron was talking about that seemed to be calling him.
He instructed Kirito to stay inside and help others build and manage the world.
Kirito was smart and, since he had some memories of Reyver, he would be skilled at aiding in the development of the space world.
Kirito couldn't leave this place because he would be expelled from the Immortal Plane, so he had to remain on standby for now.
Days went by, and Dave continued to attract attention because he appeared in many worlds without hiding his presence.
He rode a black dragon whose energy was powerful enough to make others tremble.
They visited various restaurants, and the owners didn't dare to accept his payment.
Dave paid them much more than the cost of the food because he was a good person who helped the poor and weak.
He was doing this to satisfy Draco's desires and was also accumulating sin points by showing off.
He knew that many were spying on him, likely from other clans, curious about his activities.
While he was relaxing with Draco, he suddenly received a message from Lucy.
She informed him that she had returned but had failed in her mission, angering the matriarch.
However, she had hidden her origins well, and Dave wouldn't suspect the Moon Shadow Clan's involvement.
Lucy had been grounded and locked in her residence.
The matriarch seemed cold and focused solely on her goal.
She had even sent her daughter to the Alexander Clan, and her true mission remained unknown to Dave.
Dave smirked and said, "It's time to make this woman face the might of my heavenly dragon."
Draco looked at Dave in confusion upon hearing his words.
Dave patted Draco's head and said, "You're too young to understand."
Draco nodded, not overly concerned about many things as long as he could play and enjoy plenty of food.
Before visiting the Moon Shadow Clan, Dave decided to hatch the egg he received from the system.
He found a secluded location and brought out the egg.
He now possessed the sin of gluttony, one of the requirements to hatch the egg.
He sent his sin energy and a significant amount of mana into the egg.
Adding a drop of his blood, the egg greedily absorbed everything.
"Oh? Still not satisfied?"
Dave realized that the egg wouldn't hatch easily; it seemed to consume even his vast energy and mana reserves.
He then traveled to different dead worlds, devoid of inhabitants and secluded.
Placing the egg there, he allowed it to absorb everything. He created a space barrier to prevent any disruptions to the absorption process and decided to wait for the egg to hatch.
