Chapter 238-The romantic Dave

Dave is not worried about the Spirit World, but he decided to do it personally to test the treasure of the 7 clan leaders.

Meanwhile, the situation in the Spirit World is getting worse as the Ancient Clans are becoming more powerful. The remaining Ancient Clans have joined forces with the 7 top leaders, and they are determined not to be a puppet of Dave. They have obtained a powerful treasure that can kill a peak-tier Immortal, making them more confident in their abilities.

The 7 top leaders and the Ancient Clans have started to launch sneak attacks on the territories that belong to the other empires and even tried to attack the Phoenix Clan, but Alpha repelled them. They were able to catch Dave's followers off guard, and many innocent people were killed in the process.

Phoenix Clan is the home of Mary so he will not let anything happen to it. He commanded Alpha to stay there then he summoned Beta to guard the Black Turtle Empire who is still under revitalization.

He also summoned his remaining clone, Omega, and let him guard the Dragon Empire. He is assured that his clones are the one who is guarding every empire.

He cannot let any Holy Beasts of each empire die as he still does not know the mystery of this world.

...…

As Elizabeth stood her ground, the attackers became even more enraged and started to use more powerful attacks against her. But Elizabeth's determination did not waver, and she continued to fight back with all her might. The battle lasted for hours, but eventually, Elizabeth was overpowered by the sheer number of attackers and was hardly fending them off.

...…..

The battle began as soon as Dave arrived at the White Tiger Empire. He could hear clashing swords and the roars of people. As he flew closer, he saw Elizabeth standing in the middle of a group of Immortals. She was surrounded and outnumbered, but she fought valiantly.

Dave landed beside her, his eyes glinting with a cold fury. "Step aside, Elizabeth," he said calmly.

Elizabeth turned to him, her eyes widening in surprise. "Dave, what are you doing here? Quickly escape, it is a battle of Immortals, and you cannot participate" she urged him to escape.

"Well, I just miss you" Dave joked but then replied again.

"I'm here to help, and don't worry, I am a True Immortal" he said, drawing his sword. "Now, I want to see how strong I am right now."

He wanted to sharpen his sword skills using them as tools. If he used his full powers, he could decimate them in an instant but he didn't do it.

The attackers sneered at them, but their laughter was cut short as Dave charged forward with a fierce battle cry. The air was filled with the sound of swords clashing and magic spells colliding. The attackers were skilled, but Dave was on a whole other level.

His sword was a blur as he sliced through their defenses. He moved with such speed and grace that it was hard to keep up with him. Elizabeth was amazed and shocked to see the kid she thought weak before is now at the same level as her and even stronger. They fought by his side, her own sword flashing in the sunlight. She was a skilled fighter, but even she was struggling against the sheer number of attackers.

Dave's eyes glowed with a fierce determination as he unleashed his Sword Skills. His energy surged through him, making his muscles bulge with power. He unleashed a barrage of sword slash that left the attackers reeling.

As they fought, the ground shook and the sky darkened. Dave was tapping into the full extent of the Sword Dragon Technique. The attackers were blasted back, their bodies broken, and their spirits shattered.

Elizabeth looked at Dave in awe as he stood victorious over the fallen attackers. "How did you do that?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.

Dave smiled, "It's a secret, do you want to know? Well we need to be alone" he said. Elizabeth was angered but she blushed as she knew what he meant.

"There are more battles to come, but I bet that they won't attack again for now."

The battle was won, but the war was far from over. Dave knew that the attackers would regroup and come back stronger than ever. He was ready for them and maybe if he decided, he would attack them based on his own.

As the sun set on the battlefield, Dave and Elizabeth stood together, surveying the damage they had wrought. They knew that there would be more battles to come, but the important thing is they already saved the empire.

As the battle ended, Dave and Elizabeth stood side by side. They had fought bravely together, each using their own unique skills and abilities to fend off the attackers.

"You fought well," he said, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his lips.

"As did you," she replied, a faint blush rising in her cheeks. "I must admit, I never expected to find myself fighting alongside you and you've already reached this level at a rapid pace."

Dave chuckled, a low rumble in his chest. "Do you remember our bet?"

Elizabeth's smile froze as she remembered the bet she made to him. "It's just a joke so don't think about it"

She blushed when she said that but Dave could not see it because of her veil. Dave smirked and said, "Well, the bet must be acknowledged, where is your dignity?"

Both talked and Dave continued to flirt with her. Elizabeth was used to his shamelessness, but she felt happy when she was with him. They talk like they are the only people in the world and ignore everything.

The two of them stood there for a moment, their eyes locked in a shared sense of understanding. Despite having different ages and backgrounds, they had a mutual respect and admiration for one another.

As the sun began to set, Dave turned to Elizabeth and took her hand. "Come with me," he said softly. "Let me show you something."

Curious, Elizabeth followed him as he led her to a nearby clearing. There, he conjured up a beautiful display of stars and galaxies, creating a breathtaking scene before her eyes.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, her eyes widening in wonder.

"It is, but not as beautiful as you," Dave replied, turning to face her. "Elizabeth, I know we come from different generations, but I can't help but feel drawn to you. Will you do me the honor of being my partner, not just in battle, but in life?"

Elizabeth's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Dave's eyes. She had never felt this way before, but something about him made her feel safe and protected. Without hesitation, she took his hand and nodded.

"Yes, I will," she said, a smile spreading across her face. Since she made a bet, she should honor it. She also felt that it was not a loss as he is handsome and strong that no woman can resist him.

Dave pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her and holding her tightly. "Don't worry I won't mistreat you."
