Chereads / Magic Valley / Chapter 20 - Edgar's Hunch

Chapter 20 - Edgar's Hunch

"What do you want? Isn't it still too long before the third eclipse?"Nero's question provoked a smirk on his guest's face.

"I just want to kill that you guys really worked hard to save your leader," said a big tall creature with wings darker than the night sky.

"You better hurry because Bana is getting weaker and Bonum can die by my hands easily whenever I want,"

Nero glared at his guest, "if that happens then we will destroy the Gray valley," Nero said threateningly, but it seems that the threat of the centaur man was not the least bit ignored by his guest.

The big tall creature shrouded in black aura rushed away after grinning at Edgar who was quietly peeking behind the Vitrus tree which was not far from where Nero was currently.

"Get out of there Daksha," said Nero without even turning to look at Edgar.

"Erm...I...I'm sorry, actually I-"

"It doesn't matter because sooner or later you will find out," said Nero, cutting into Edgar's sentence.

"Who's he?I felt a very strong horror when he stood there," said Edgar describing the feeling he had been holding in so hard for a long time because he was shaking so much.

"Really? Don't you recognize him?" asked Nero with a mysterious face.

Edgar immediately shook his head with a look full of suspicion.

"Your memory is quite bad apparently, he's Bonum," said Nero, making Edgar gasped.

"Boom??!!" Edgar didn't feel sure about Nero's words.

"Never mind you don't have to think about it he just came to ask about your training," Nero's words did not become a satisfactory answer for Edgar.

Edgar looked at Nero intently as if he wanted to say that he didn't believe what Nero said,

"We'd better get some rest, because tomorrow you will be back fighting in the gladius arena," although still having many questions hanging in his mind Edgar finally choose to save the question because it seemed that Nero was not comfortable with some questions about Bonum at that time.

The two of them walked back to Valdom to rest, but Edgar's premonition about Bonum that he had just seen suddenly turned into a very pressing feeling. I don't know what really happened but Edgar was sure that the one who came to Vallos land was not Bonum.

in Nymphodora Fargo is still in Hira's mushroom Locus because he and Fin just arrived there with some magic ingredients to use to make magic potions.

"Can we just make the potion tomorrow??' asked Fargo who was already looking tired and slumped down on a root chair in Hira's Locus.

"No, because the Mandevilla root that has been pulled from the tree can only last until midnight," Hira said

"Is it true? That sounds ridiculous," Fargo said, who immediately got a sharp glance from Fin and made the young man immediately shut his mouth.

"Do you want to go home soon?" Hira asked Fargo.

"Of course don't you smell the smell of our sweat which is already very stinging I think I'll get a chance to just take a shower—"

"Calderos"

'Buuu Rrrrrr' suddenly a torrent of water hit Fargo and made the young man fall on his knees.

"You've taken a shower," said Hira curtly.

Fargo was just flabbergasted to see himself soaking wet all of a sudden.

"Did you call the water to come?" asked Fargo with a serious face making Hira immediately approach the young man.

"Yes, what are you going to do? Are you going to curse me or leave my locus?" asked Hira with a slight lift of his face as if to tell Fargo that he was not afraid that the young man would scold him,

"No, I think it's cool so can you teach me the spelling earlier?" Fargo's narrative was apparently beyond Hira's expectation, the elf girl just sighed in annoyance and returned to the big cauldron which she was using to make potions.

"Please teach me the water spell," whined Fargo who suddenly felt very enthusiastic about the Celaros spell uttered by Hira.

"It's not time for you to learn spells, because your first training was to make potions so I can't teach you spells now," Hira said without taking his eyes off Fargo.

"But this is only one spell," Fargo was still trying to persuade Hira.

"Fin, can you take him away and dry him, I need to make some potions first before teaching him to make Fons potions," Hira asked Fin, to which the elf youth immediately agreed. Fin without further ado pulled Fargo away from Hira.

"Come with me, you can't train in your wet clothes," said Fin as he continued to drag Fargo to another room inside the mushroom locus.

Fargo snorted in annoyance, "I thought only human girls were annoying but fairy girls can be really annoying, how hard is it to teach me just one spell," Fargo continued to grumble until Fin stopped his steps and opened a cupboard hanging on the wall.

"Choose your clothes," Fin said to Fargo while showing a line of clothes that looked a little strange to Fargo.

"Should I wear clothes like this?" asked Fargo as he squinted at the neatly lined clothes in matching colors, yellow and green and made of leaves covered with silk on the inside.

"I'm not forcing you to wear it if you are more comfortable with your wet clothes," said Fin, who was starting to get a little annoyed at Fargo.

although looking doubtful, Fargo finally grabbed one of the clothes there, and then took off his wet clothes and replaced it with new clothes which he found very strange, while Fin chose to leave Fargo to change his clothes,

Fin looked lost in thought as Fargo approached him.

"I'm done, what now?" Fargo asked Fin who didn't pay any attention to him.

"hey!! Fin are you annoyed with me like that girl?" asked Fargo as he patted Fin on the shoulder.

"no,"

"Then why are you suddenly acting like that to me?"

"Something's coming up,"Fin said, making Fargo wonder.

"I don't understand, what do you mean another elf will be here soon?" asked Fargo guessing.

"No, something terrible just crossed over Nhympodora," said Fin again and still confused Fargo.

Without saying much more, Fin immediately went to Hira's room, followed by Fargo behind him.

"Do you feel it too?" asked Fin who had just entered Hira's room and found the elf girl stunned in front of her cauldron.

"Yes, it's very scary and makes the potion in my cauldron churn," Hira said with a surprised face, while Fargo, who didn't feel anything, just stared at him not understanding.

"Do you think the same as me Fin?" Hira asked the elf youth.

"Yeah, but it looks like he didn't stop this time," said Fin again.

"Who exactly are you guys talking about earlier, and what's terrible?" asked Fargo who couldn't stand his curiosity.

"Just a guest, by the way haven't you felt anything since earlier??'

"No," said Fargo which made Fin and Hira look at each other.

"Ah well... Fin will start teaching you to make Fons potions, you can start by washing the magic ingredients you will use," Hira ordered Fargo
