Chapter 2 - Prologue

(Lujile) Lulu's POV

Before I could even open the email, my boss texts me in all caps lock "oh, I'm already an hour and a half late, well.. how great is this?" and let out a sigh and read the text. "DON'T EVEN BOTHER COMMING BACK CAUSE YOU'RE ALREADY FIRED." is what the manager said. I just let out a curse without a sound and sighed again and finally read the email, 'Hello, Good day I would like to ask if this is Adrianu Costa. I immediately contacted the email that you posted about the marriage. As you said, both parties would have benefits in this marriage. I'm having problems with money because of some crisis I was in. I would like to participate and I assure you, I have all the qualifications. I'm 19, I don't have any issues with others. I graduated high-school. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to study for college. Like I said, money is the problem and I don't get attached easily. My mailing address is Apartment A House W, and my phone number is +1. ************ Please contact me immediately. I'm quite desperate. I'll do my best. Have a nice day.' What's written and his answer was still not open from my email, which is why I didn't see that he contacted me the next day I sent the email. "Thank you for contacting us." Yes, I'm Adrianu Costa, I'm the lawyer of the other party. Here's the rules and regulations or policy for the content. I will be contacting you if both of your clients are okay with the terms. Thank you again for the information. Have a nice day. # +1************/ AdrianuCosta@gmail.com The address is West X Bldg., Vitale Company. I formed a punching motion with my hand but held it back and repeatedly hit my forehead, wondering what I had done. I was almost every day scrolling through the Azure website to see how other people's lives were going, and a lot of people's memes were in my feeds, and I thought this was also a meme... well, I was wrong, unfortunately on the exact date that I'm away, I did a stupid and embarrassing thing, and I should apologize to them for what I did, and just be a better person from now on.' I was deep in thought when the door opened and the lawyer entered; I was about to apologize and explain why, but he didn't seem to notice my trembling in fear because I despise apologizing. "We'll be leaving now, miss; please come with me." He said, and without looking at me, he picked up his belongings and left the room. I didn't know what to do, so I just started walking to where he was taking me. When we got outside, I saw that my 'ex-boyfriend' was out too, with his probably 'now-girlfriend' hugging in the middle of the sidewalk, but I looked away, and thankfully, the lawyer went to the parking lot the opposite direction of where they were. When I was in my thoughts of panic, I found myself in the car with the lawyer. I didn't even notice that I had already gone in with him.

(Roberto Vitale's P.O.V) I was sitting and looking at my phone for an update when Mr. Costa's text popped out of my notification. I opened it and read the texts, 'We're going to a hotel called H Hotel near the police station.' , 'Ms. Dela Cruz seems to be anxious. She can't go back to the apartment because her ex boyfriend alerted the police. She can't go in there anymore.' is what he said. I scratched my head above the ear of frustration, 'this girl only gives me more problems than ever... calm down, it's only a kid, but how old is she? 12?' I texted the lawyer, "How old exactly is she?" I ask. Five minutes later, he seems busy because he didn't read it, so I just brush it off and get ready to take a nap while I can.

Twenty minutes later, we arrived at the hotel. My head is still not stopping from thinking about whether I don't have enough money, I just got fired on text, I don't have my clothes, I can't go back to my once home-and a lot more than I could ever imagine.' While walking, after he booked a hotel room, he spoke to me, "Please call me whatever you want. You can be polite or not. I won't have any problems. In the meantime, I've already arranged for your adoption. I'm only doing this for my client. He's a desperate young man," he said while we were walking to the room we booked into. "You can't go to the apartment, so you can't have your clothes that you left there. My client will do something about it when he arrives. " He continued, and when we were in front of room 224, he let me in first after opening the door, and while he continued to talk "You don't have to worry; no one will hurt you. We don't do such a things. You watch too much drama, but it seems like you know how to do cat-fights because of them. You ripped that poor woman's hair, young lady," he said, and poured some coffee. I sat on the couch, still scared. I flinch when his phone rings. He answers it with a smile, "Yes, Mr. Vitale... yes, I'll tell her... she's 16.. yes, Mr. Vitale I'll take you there... don't worry, I have all the time in the world. Yes, goodbye Mr. Vitale. " and that "Mr. Vitale" hung up the phone, "I'll leave you here first, miss. I will be right back. " He said this and didn't let me speak and went out of the room. When he was finally gone, I let out the biggest sigh of relief I felt in all my life.
