When you hold someone really close, everything around them dissapears. You see a version of them you've always believed them to be. You don't hear anything else, people's opinions of them become a blur, the things you may want to ask them become all but a whisper. What are you love is an idea of them, and it's the one you hold too close.
When you see someone from a far, everything around them does not seem to matter. You're too busy trying to focus your gaze on them. The things you'd want to know about them, sit be clarified with them being in distance. What you love is an idea of them, which you can't quite come to terms with.
When you sit across someone at the table, everything about them comes into play. You see the way they carry themselves, the way they smile after ordering, you share a story or ten, and when you see them get up to leave, you understand that you know them for who they are, and not what you'd imagine, or let the world tell you. What you love about a person at a coffee table after an honest conversation, is the person themselves.
Because when you really love someone you wouldn't see someone else whenever you are going somewhere because you only can think and have their in your mind and it wouldn't be easy to put them away even for a single second.
