Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Jane walked out of the children's room, quietly shutting the door behind her

it was 11:00 in the night, The children had been up all night crying their eyes out.

Jane had concluded that they we're adapting to their new environment and would be fine after some months at their new home in Oklahoma,

they'd just moved there from Ohio, Two weeks ago

Jane slipped back into the gloom of her marital room,

She could hear her husband snoring loudly

she walked into the wash room and gave herself a quick wash then quietly laid on the bed,

Deep in thoughts, her husband had no job and could barely fend for their children.

Alex was two, Priscilla was four,

But neither of them had gotten into school, her thinking was interrupted by a loud slam on a tree it was a car "who could be driving by this time"she thought jumping out of bed and staring through the window the headlights of the car pointed directly on the windows, and she could barely see anything,

she slammed the glass open trying to squeeze her head through the iron rods.

The children's screams interrupted her, she ran to their room and found the window wide open, she ran outside but the car had driven off all she could see were the lights.

All the while Joseph her husband lay in bed,

she ran back into their room but couldn't hear he's snoring anymore she quickly lit a candle,

Her husband's dead body stood five feets away from her quickly glancing at the clock she realized it was 12:00 am.

Out of fear she ran outside breathing heavily

she turned around and besides her stood a man in a black cloak with a heavy sigh she fell to the floor.

The next morning she was being interrogated by some police men that witnessed everything the detective in charge of the case, received information that the exact thing had happened in Ohio and Ontario

that same night and more people were killed but the strange thing was the only people who were kidnapped were Alex and Priscilla.

staring at their home Jane sat opposite their home looking more sad than normal she could barely speak and the detective could get nothing out of her.

he walked out to talk to the the other occupants of the yard, Jane walked to the river that sat behind their old home and jumped into it.
