'this plan is crazy' this thought kept appearing in yama's mind no matter what how many times he tried dismissing it, but he was right how could this not be called crazy, they are calling monsters to take care of other monsters but it was the only way .
yama gulped and tried ignoring his brain's screams of the stupidity of the plan and kicked himself forward, he noticed that all the wolfs stopped pursuing him and went back with the appearance of tibbers.
when he looked at the the bear on fire coming at them with momentum that putted dump truck on shame, he instantly know that it was stronger than the wolfs, but it was nothing in front of the tiger.
at the back, kuro was looking at yama going far from the danger with sera and he felt like all the stress and worry go away with him.
this feelings were always a hindrance to him, first he only felt them when yama was sent in dangerous missions then his wife took another chaire in his heart and sera followed after, now there are three people he cared about.
he could only concentrate on the coming fight if they are gone from danger's claws, he checked with his mana sense and was happy that the entire pack was surrounding him, he successfully made himself the point of attention, the fire bear was looking directly as him with murderous eyes and the pack leader also identified him as a greater danger than yama after it felt his killing intent that made him shiver.
kuro stood their with his odachi in the right hand, he took a deep breath, started absorbing his killing intent inside his body, the more he absorbed the more red aura he emitted, aura that was the name of the substance that his body started releasing when the odachi vibrated, although he still didn't understand why his aura was crimson blood red in it wasn't time for thinking.
he took a battle stance with his left foot in front and the right one in the back, held the katana with both hands with it sharp tip to the ground in the direction of the bear.
a faint memory struck him at this moment, a voice that made his hole being shiver, it was threatening and calm at the same tame, like it was saying how higher it is compared to the insignificant him, it was the boss and also his master.

kuro opened his eyes, if his expression were cold and indifferent before, then now it looked dead , there was no deference between his face and a dead corps face.
he looked at the running bear who was 10 meters away, the moment their eyes met, the bear saw death in kuro's eyes and quickly hit his front paws at the ground to stop his movement but his monument pushed him until he was 3 meters away from kuro.
" grrrr" the bear let a threatening growl to kuro as it started rotating around him, that eye contact made it clear to the bear he was not just another weak prey.
while the bear was focused on kuro the wolf pack started retreating, the leader gave up on this prey he know how strong the bear was, even if kuro showed that strong killing intent he wasn't strong enough to kill or fight on the same ground with it, if he was why did he run away from them while he could've annihilated them.
they turned and run away loosing two wolfs and failing to capture anything, it wasn't their lucky day .
kuro looked the bear dead in the eye, they both were moving slowly in circles, after a few minutes the bear made the first move.
he pushed the ground so hard it broke under the pressure, he used that power to leap into kuro closing the 3 meters in an instant and raised his right paw up in the air before it brought it down on him.

rock flayed everywhere and cloud of dust blocked the view as the ground shacked from the power of the strike, it was strong enough to go through small armored cars with ease.
a little grin appeared on the bears mouth before it ugly twisted to choke and pain, he didn't hit anything and he felt like his right abdomen was split open, because it was, he looked to at and blood could be seen gushing out from the wound, his skin was completely cut but the muscles were fine.

the bear roared in anger and started searching for his opponent, but kuro was nowhere to be seen.

the bear's back fell too the ground as it felt terrible pain from it's legs "ROAR" the roars of anger changed to roars of pain, and as the bear looked behind to see what caused the pain but all he saw was the tip of the odachi that went inside it's eye and into his brain.
thud!
the sound of the bears lifeless body hitting the ground was loud because of it's bulk.
it couldn't even react and died before even realizing what happened before dying, standing next to it, kuro was looking at the dead monster then looked at his odachi, there was not a single drop of blood on the blade.
kuro raised his long katana and stabbed the bear as deep as he could that's when he realized why the blade was clean.
the odachi was absorbing the blood of the dead bear.
