Mornar didn't budge, he just put on a limp face with his hand stealing Roderick's food.
"What are you going to do with my food?! You're a big animal, is enough to eat my not much food. Besides, I have to fill my stomach quickly. Otherwise, my strength will be lost." Roderick stopped Mornar's slow-moving action. Of course Roderick knew Mornar's movements down there, because he had keen eyesight. Not to mention Mornar's big hands, he could see the mosquito's feet when he was about to suck his blood.
From there, Roderick knew that Mornar could not only accompany him to fight against the strange whales, but he could also talk and be his discussion partner. Roderick didn't see whether it was an animal or not, the most important thing for him was harmony or compatibility in making friends. And this time Roderick would think of him as a friend, not a bodyguard.
"In a precarious situation like this you can still eat leisurely. Your load is heavy, Roderick. You relax, the whales will continue to lurk for the next attack."
Instead of being silent, Mornar continued to speak. Even though he knew that Roderick didn't like the chatter that made his ears hot. It was all proven, he immediately covered Mornar's mouth with a piece of cloth Ziv had given him.
Just a few mouthfuls, the state inside shook like a high-strength earthquake. Made Roderick alert again with his eyes roaming around the local situation.
"Just been told, it has happened again, right. You are different from other people, Roderick. You are a leader, a leader must stay alert at all times. Next time change your eating speed." Mornar grumbled again.
"Shut up, Mornar! Can't you be a man who doesn't talk much? Next time be ashamed of your black skin." Roderick grumbled back.
Moments later the shaking grew stronger, Roderick fell and staggered up. The great whales are back in action, they will destroy the city that has not been destroyed. While Roderick was confused about what he should do now.
With lightning speed Mornar spread his wings and carried Roderick onto his body. "We have to start our adventure quickly before that strange whale takes over the city, Roderick." Mornar smashed into a very hard rock. He tried to destroy it, and Roderick could only grip the thorn in Mornar's back.
"Where are we going, Mornar?!" Roderick shouted.
"Are you blind?! Your grandfather told you to go to the world of hemp, didn't he?! Now there's no time for us to stay in this room." replied Mornar who kept trying to break the rock.
"But what if the whales manage to destroy an entire city quickly? We don't have time for this."
"Shut up, Roderick! Instead of you continuing to nag like a girl, better now put the green mark on your wrist on my body. I don't have much energy now, hurry up!" said Mornar in an annoyed tone.
If earlier Roderick made fun of Mornar like a woman because he kept talking, now Mornar is teasing him for the same reason. They are like brothers and sisters who always fight all the time, the only difference is that they don't exist in the same form.
After the green mark on Roderick's wrist was affixed to Mornar's body, Mornar's strength immediately increased many times. So that the rock shattered and displayed a gleam of light that blinded both of their eyes. Even Roderick fell down because before he was no longer holding on to Mornar's spine.
"Hurry up, Roderick. The glare of such a light has already fallen, how is it dazzled by a beautiful nymph. Blind, you." Mornar teased, bringing him back on top of him.
Roderick could no longer reply to Mornar's taunts, for now he was silenced by the sight before him. As the rock shattered and scattered, he saw not the ocean, but the flax plant that stretched out to the end of his vision.
"What is this, Mornar?! The sky of the hemp world is green?" asked Roderick as he looked up.
"I told you not to talk too much. This is the world of hemp, not the world of humans." snapped Mornar who immediately flapped his wings to fly.
Finally Mornar flew over the flax beds. Roderick shook his head when he saw how large this hemp plant was. He was confused about how the people there process it.
"My green mark?" Roderick muttered as the green mark on his wrist flashed. Now they were high up, and Roderick saw where there was danger. Turns out he saw a flax plant following them. Roderick shouted asking Mornar to continue increasing his flight speed. They had no time to deal with moving flax like that.
"My strength is running out, Roderick. I can't speed up my flight speed, my wings feel sore." shouted Mornar back.
Roderick was getting more and more confused. Where he didn't have wings, it was certain that now they would be in trouble again.
It turned out to be true, the flax continued to lengthen until it tied Mornar's legs and Roderick's body together. They were forced down so as not to continue their journey.
"Aaaaaa…" Roderick shouted as the hemp managed to pull his body.
Mornar who was also not strong enough to give up his body was forcefully pulled, while his wings were left stretched out like a kite in the sky. He had never been told before that something like this would happen, thus he had no preparation at all to put up a fight.
Roderick and Mornar didn't fall, they were well received by the flax below. They lay as if on an expensive and soft mattress. Even some of his hands were massaged calmly. Comfort is what is happening to them now. Roderick thought he'd be in trouble again, but he wasn't at all.
"Hoho! Roderick! My favorite food is here." shouted Mornar as the hemps brought a delicious meal together for a dragon.
Not long after that, Roderick got the same treatment. The food is now better than the food that Ziv gave. This time it was complete with the fruits.
"Mornar, now I don't want to fight with anyone anymore. I just want to enjoy this dish." Roderick raved with a blush on his face.
But suddenly the fun is gone somewhere, just now they are saving themselves on the edge of the abyss. Mornar who no longer has the energy to fly can only hook his claws on the roots of a long dangling tree. Likewise with Roderick who was panting trying to save himself from falling down.
"Mornar! Turns out the fun was just a trick. It's useless for me to grumble not wanting to fight anymore, if the evidence is like this. What world is this, Mornar?! It's really strange and very dangerous for our lives." Roderick shouted in his struggle.
At first the only thing that filled Roderick and Mornar's view was a very large flax plant. But suddenly the hemp plant disappeared and turned into a very steep ravine.
With minimal strength they both continued to climb the roots that dangled long and strong. They never gave up on what happened to them.
"We'll get through this, Mornar. Fighting for the city of Vanhigh Wern that's overrun by strange whales." said Roderick encouraging his new partner.
Thanks to the sincerity of the two, they managed to save themselves. But Roderick's eyes guessed something he was looking at right now, "Isn't this the hemp plant from earlier? And we passed this plant when we came out of the rock. But why suddenly there is a chasm?!" wonder.
Instead of helping him think, Mornar left him. He walked with the remaining strength that had been drained by the damn abyss earlier.
"Mornar!" Roderick shouted.
"Don't shout my name like that, Roderick! I haven't had a chance to eat the delicious food just now. And now my stomach is very hungry." shouted Mornar back.
Roderick was forced to follow Mornar, who didn't know where he was going.
Not long after that both of them felt something was different from the ground they stepped on. It turned out to be true, the solid foundation slowly turned soft like glue. The two of them struggled to find a way not to drown. But alas, they had no other way but to completely drown themselves. Because even swimming will not be able to save them. The soft runway is very difficult to use as a place to swim, especially when they have little energy left.
"Mornar!" Roderick shouted before he finally drowned.
