"You want to interrogate Lin Hui alone?"
Wu Zheng shook his head in disagreement. "As long as Chen Ke confesses, we can close the case and hand it over to the prosecutor's office. Why do you still want to interrogate Lin Hui?"
"Because I don't think Chen Ke is the mastermind in this case." Shen Yin looked gravely at the flustered but determined Chen Ke in the interrogation room.
Zou Sheng rubbed his sleepy eyes. He had been staying up late and working overtime. "But, Sister, we don't have any evidence that points to Lin Hui. If she doesn't relent and insists that she's the victim, how can we interrogate her?"
Shen Yin shook her head with wry smile. "Our job is to find out the truth. We can't close the case hastily just because there's insufficient evidence. Any suspicious points in a case should be cleared before it can be considered closed."
