It was rare to have a chance to rest on a workday. Shen Yin stayed comfortably in bed until noon, then called Li Zi to ask her to go to the mall for a meal after work to relax.
On the phone, Li Zi lowered her voice and stammered, "I'm sorry, Yin Yin. I have an appointment with someone tonight. I'll definitely keep you company next time!"
Shen Yin was immediately on the alert as she sat up in bed. She pulled open the curtains and looked at the sun that was high in the sky. The sun was still working today and it must haven risen from the east as usual. She could not restrain her curiousity as she asked, "Who's your date? Which man? Do I know him? Have you forgotten…"
The name stuck in her throat for a long time. Shen Yin decided to not to say it out loud. She did not want to ruin everyone's mood on such a happy occasion.
