"Li Zi is here!"
Shen Yin's face lit up. She completely forgot about the meat in the pot and rushed excitedly into the living room. "I was worried that you would get lost. I was just about to ask when you would arrive."
"You're the one who's always getting lost." Li Zi teased Shen Yin for her lack of sense of direction and sized up the Lian residence in surprise. "You're finally going to marry into a rich family. When you become rich in the future, don't forget me!"
"Don't talk nonsense." Shen Yin smiled and poured her a cup of hot tea to warm her up. She looked up at the butler and asked, "Where's Nian Nian? Tell him that Li Zi is here and ask him to come out and greet her."
"Is Nian Nian used to living here?" Li Zi was worried that Shen Nian, a child who had appeared out of nowhere, would be bullied in the Lian family. This child was used to pretending to be an adult. Even if there was something amiss, he probably would not tell Shen Yin.
