two years later
Lexy's point of view.
it's finally time. Malex and the others will be coming back today.
this same day, two years ago, we all split up. now we are about to be reunited. but we all are going to be close to arch mage level.
I quickly get ready. making sure I look good and am ready to meet back up with him. I've been getting a little worried that maybe he moved on
but I really don't think that's crossed his mind. I do wonder how strong he has gotten. out of every newbie, he's expected to be the most powerful. now he's had the chance to reach that potential, I wonder if he has touched it.
I hear a knock at the door. I ran to the door, opening it. it's mother, I quickly hug her.
mother "man, I've missed you."
she hugs back.
I look around and see Jack and Katelyn holding hands.
Lexy "wow. you two look absolutely amazing together."
Katelyn, "Thank you so much."
Jack, "Of course I look good."
Katelyn "shut up." *playfully
I continue to look around. but fail to find Max or Malex.
Lexy, "Where's Max and Malex?"
mother, "Max said they had one more thing to do before they came back."
poor Malex. I wonder what he has to do.
Malex view
Malex "That's a very far drop."
father "it is."
Malex, "So why exactly am I about to jump into a volcano that's 2.5 miles above sea level?"
father "it's to help you focus. while you're falling, you typically have a whole lot harder time thinking. so your goal is to think of a way, while falling, to escape. don't worry, you have plenty of time to think."
he teleports behind me and kicks me off.
so the obvious thing to do is to fly. but the thing is, im not allowed to. so the next best option is to tornado. I cast my spell tornado, and it blows me back up, but not far enough. I quickly fall back down. thousands of ideas flow through my head, but none of them are going to work.
I am super close to the lava. I activate mana armor, protecting myself. for extra protection, I activate air shield. when I get to reaching the point of the lava, I activate my time magic spell, time entrapment. this spell turns any object into a touchable force and stops time through them. but this spell only lasts a couple of seconds, like most time spells.
while the lava is now touchable. I put my feet on the lava and put all my mana there, and I also put my hands down. simultaneously, I activate arcane magic mana feet and air push. I fly at incredible speeds. reaching the top. I grab the side of the volcano and push myself up.
father "very good job. let's go back home now."
Lexy's point of view
I hear another person knocking at the door.
Lexy "finally!!"
I run over and open the door. immediately, I get captured into a hug. we start kissing.
I pull back and look at his face. the same face as before.
Malex "wow you look even more pretty."
Lexy "wow. you have a good grip."
Malex "working out."
I start to laugh, actually thinking it's a joke. but he was completely serious.
he puts me down, and I take a good look. yeah, he has gotten a little bit taller, but his muscles are noticeable.
Lexy "wow."
Lexis "Okay, everyone. now, since everyone's here, I say we have a party."
Jack "yeah!!!"
one hour later
it's a good party. we all are outside, just having our fun. I throw a water balloon right at Malex's face, hitting him in the jaw. he grabs one and throws it at me, but I use my earth sling spell to fly me in the woods. he follows with his flying spell. he catches up a whole lot quicker than I thought he would.
he tackles me to the ground and starts to tickle me.
Lexy "STOP!!! PLEASE STOP!!!" *in a laughing voice
Malex, "Are you going to do it again."
Lexy "NO!!!"
he finally stops.
Malex "I never took you as the ticklish type."
Lexy "well I never took you as the strong type."
Malex "never really liked it."
Lexy "well I never really liked magic until I trained with your mother."
Malex "I've missed you a lot."
Lexy "me too. but your letters made everything 100 times better, though."
Malex, "Did they?"
Lexy "I really liked sending papers back to each other. I thought it was cute."
Malex pulls me in for a kiss. we kiss until we both hear a huge explosion.
Lexy "God no."
Malex point of view
by the time we get there. there's a huge fight happening. Lexy points over too Kerksmitch and Nathen standing side by side. father rushes after Kerksmitch. I fly to Nathen.
Nathen "has been awhile."
Malex "since you betrayed us, yes"
Nathen "betrayed isn't a very good word for it."
Malex "It's about the only word for it."
I quickly use swift end, hitting him dead on, way too fast for him. his feet explode, and he is getting close. I use electricity speed, a spell that now makes me go around 40,000 miles per hour. I quickly run. for the human eye, it looks like I am teleporting. but it's just me running.
I take my sword out of my scabbard and slash him in the stomach. yellow sparks fly. I dash backward and stand still, locking eyes with him.
Nathen: "How did you do that? how did you get over there?"
Malex "I'm too fast for you."
I run until I'm in front of him and use electricity punch, forming electricity around my hand. I hit him right in the stomach. Yellow sparks fly, but my spell manages to pass his armor. he flies back, hitting a tree, defeated.
I deactivate electricity speed and walk towards him. Kerksmitch plops from the shadows and hits me with a shadow ball. yellow sparks fly. I fly back, hitting the ground hard. I quickly get up to see everyone that is here gone.
father, "Is everyone okay?"
Katelyn, "I think so."
father "Okay, good."
we all gather around checking our damages. if anyone had any, Lexy fixed it right up.
father, "we will talk about this tomorrow. everyone get some needed sleep."
mother "I'll set some arcane circles around so if anyone trys to sneak in, they'll be cought."
father "good idea."
we all head to our rooms. I sit down on the bed.
Malex "have you been staying in here since I was gone?"
Lexy "yes. oh I done moved everything from my room to this one. why is that a problem?"
Malex "no. I just thought you might have been staying in your room."
Lexy walks over to the bed and sits right in my lap. she looks at my face.
Lexy "I've really missed you."
Malex "I've missed you too."
Lexy grabs my shoulders and pushes me on the bed. she hovers above me. she drops her head down and kisses me. when she is done, she starts to undress
Malex, "What are you doing?"
Lexy "your not whining about this."
Malex "wh-"
Lexy, "Just shush and get your clothes off."
Kerksmitch's point of view
Kerksmitch: "You weakling. you looked like an absolute loser. he defeated you without you ever even fighting back!!"
Nathen "I DID MY BEST!!"
Kerksmitch "That was your best. you're putting a bad name on me. maybe I should just finish you off like Malex was about to!!"
Nathen "PLEASE!!"
Kerksmitch: "Please what!!"
Nathen "PLEASE GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE!!!"
Kerksmitch "fine. you know what, I'll even help you. I'll teach you how to see him. but if you lose this next time, you won't have time to regret it."
