Alysa's POV
I was stranded in my thoughts of what I found. I had to be patient and calm. The drive was the slowest one of my life even after I asked the taxi driver to drive faster. It was messy, but it was going to get better. At the end of some unknown minutes, I knew I was going to make it to Max's apartment.
This was the plan, I wanted to talk to him about the strange papers I saw in my bag. Also, relating them to what my late foster mother taught me, the results might be demeaning to a big fault.
I was ready to see him, and this time around with a clear head. We have always had a lot to say and do. We have always had faults on our backs, but you would not what was on my mind while I was returning to his apartment.
Suddenly, the taxi stopped and it jerked roughly. It happened and it was enough that I could shake myself out of my thoughts.
