Chapter 125 - Ocean

"In their fear they cling to power and unknowingly give themselves up willingly to these invaders… but enough of this. You have peered into the laws of chaos and order, now you must learn how to apply what you know. I'm sure by now with your eyes you've come to realize that the base human senses are insufficient to comprehend the true nature of reality?" Deiwos continued and asked as his demeanor changed while he began walking into the lush greenery that had appeared before them.

By now this phenomenon had also caught the attention of those within the city behind as shouts of miracles and impossible things happening outside the fortified walls.

"Yes, it's like being right at the edge of something unexplainable and phenomal without ever being able to know what it is." Wo Shie responded as he recounted his experiences prior to comprehending chaise and order.

In Wo shies mind his entire life began to replay as he carefully remembered his past experiences and how each time he had broken through with his eyes of the infinite it was like a blind person being able to see for the first time.

After just his time spend with Albus and the Council of Light he could clearly feel every small thing within his own body in addition to the fluctuations of space around him.

Seeing the information that made up the world was like seeing life in motion for the first time rather than observing life from the perspective of a picture frame.

And when he had first peered into the laws of chaos order and control, it was like learning that all of physical reality was simply an ocean where most beings were trapped in the overwhelming darkness of living at the bottom with no hope of gaining vision.

The overbearing pressure of the water above crushing them in place, forcing them to be capriciously dragged along by the ebb and flow of the tide.

Some beings could swim closer to the surface of the ocean of reality but the closer one got to the surface the more violent the ebb and flow of the current and tide became, which most people would come to learn as karma.

Even closer to the surface the reality became even more harsh whether the brilliance of star light was shining down on the ocean or dark clouds ominously filled the sky booming with thunder and striking the ocean with lightning like the Hand of God.

The surface of the ocean was the worst part of reality from Wo shies standpoint, there the starlight would so brightly illuminate your eyes that were accustomed to darkness that it was easy to immediately be blinded once again and go back to the depths where the waves wouldn't so violently assault you from all sides.

Or at the surface there would exist a storm resembling a battlefield where the waves would climb to towering heights attempting to push you back down into the depths as if to show you how insignificant you truly were against the forces of nature.

This was the true nature of reality, in the face of all of existence everything was nothing more than an inconsequential being as every conscious being was simply a frog at the bottom of the well it resided in.

This was the nature of chaos and order Wo Shie had come to learn slightly dreadfully. The only options were to become strong enough to part the water, walk upon the water like a reflection, or simply fly above, and still even these actions of order had their own chaotic consequences because it was like stepping into a new world, a new ocean, and a more unpredictable karmic pattern.

This was why Wo Shie said the senses the heavens endowed to all living beings were insufficient, because none of the senses held equal to man could allow them to see this nature of reality.

Just thinking about this cold sweat built on Wo shies forehead as he clenched his fist, "Control, control is the only way.. but control as a sense…" Wo Shie began before abruptly stopping as his thoughts rampaged through his head before a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"Indeed.. But the sense of control is hard to obtain in chaos and in order. Hardly any being and thing will ever experience a true sense of control that isn't simply a delusion, and this is why I believe you can achieve the things I can not." Deiwos spoke, his tone regretful and slightly hopeful.

"Why?" Wo Shie asked slightly confused.

"For a long time I thought I was controlling the situation, for a while I even fought for power in fear of losing my position, but as things have progressed I realize that I have been the most afraid, and the biggest hypocrite. You have the ability to embrace your fears and transform yourself in adversity. I'm just an old dog I realize more and more as I fight for the survival of a creation I was unprepared to create." Deiwos spoke his voice obviously pained and disappointed.
