Chapter 123 - Invaders

"So there's different levels of existence?" Wo Shie asked trying to put everything Deiwos said into a perspective he could understand.

"Yes in simple terms that's accurate, but in reality it is a little more complex as many of them have intelligence like us, and the overlaying of divergent realities and and planes of existence even further complicates the matter…" Deiwos spoke.

"What do you mean… overlaying? Wo Shie asked.

"Its almost if all planes of existence exist in exactly the same physical position but because of that higher planes have an advantage as most people within our plane of existence don't have senses powerful enough to perceive them, so they become susceptible to unconscious manipulations and make themselves obstacles in my defense, this is part of the reason for heavenly tribulations." Deiwos continued to further clarify Wo shies question.

"Let me show you so you can have a better understanding." Deiwos spoke as he stood and appeared next to Wo Shie.

He placed his hand on Wo Shie's shoulder, where this time Wo Shie could clearly sense the the chaotic and ordered energy engulfing them as they disappeared and reappeared in an unfamiliar location.

Wo shies entire mind body and soul had experienced massive changes in his meditation to comprehend chaos and order.

His physical body had become even stronger as the black and white symbols that occupied his bones and organs had multiplied a thousand fold. The god soul that occupied his inner universe looked the same but its energy and aura had multiplied in unison with the symbols that occupied his physical body.

The largest and most noticible changes to Wo Shie currently were the changes to his eyes and his physical senses. He was sure of he was around anyone he had met up to this point aside from Deiwos the oversoul and whoever it was that attacked him as his mother wouldn't be his match.

In the area they currently appeared Wo Shie could see many people as it was a town square they had appeared.

But it was extremely eerie as the people all hurried some with their heads down and some blatantly aggressive to those in the immediate area around themselves.

In addition to the people Wo Shie could greatly see the dark phantom manifestations that occupied some peoples shadows and sat on others shoulders and heads.

"Don't stare too long, they will notice you and if they converge on up the city will be destroyed." Deiwos said in a grim voice as he began walking through the city.

"Wh-what are those things?" Wo Shie asked as he began to scan himself and his own shadow.

"Just act normal little Shie, but these are beings that have left their plane of existence, some are like an infestations, while others may be like parasites, and others come to assist humanity. From my observation these shadow beings when they gain intelligence they usually have the aim to grow the strength and power of humanity." Deiwos spoke to Wo Shie.

"Also if you get a good look at their energy they actually don't have any harmful intentions, they are more like refugees which is the biggest alarm about their arrival." Deiwos spoke as they continued walking through the city.

The city wasn't dilapidated it actually looked like a fairly well off midevil city with paved roads and shops with continuous business.

And in almost every direction Wo Shie could observe a few of these shadowy beings seemingly unnoticed by the humans that occupied this land.

"Elves, and the other demonic and beastly races are normally more aware of these other existences alongside them, that is actually how I learned of these invaders the elf goddes had requested my assistance when she saw many of her youths power and talent and skyrocket with these beings attached to them. The scariest part is these things power grows equally with their host, still most of them haven't shown and harmful behaviors or intentions to the natives of this plane." Deiwos spoke shocking Wo Shie further.

They continued to walk until finally they reached a large wall built surrounding the city.

Deiwos continued walking through the wall as if it didn't exist as he phased directly through it, and Wo Shie followed suit after looking on slightly stunned for a moment.
