Chapter 31 - Enchanted Bazaar

"What is that!?" Wo Shie asked his eyes shining with awe at the massive otherworldly structure.

The structure was truly magnificent, it looked like one large pice of glass had been fitted into a dome shape while the 3D octagram (8 pointed star) hung suspended over a platform that was approximately 300 by 300 meters. There was about 750 meters of space between the edge of the arena and the interior of the dome giving the dome a circumference of 1800 meters.

The structure was colossal compared to everything he'd seen so far aside from some of the buildings from the sect and the castle he was staying at with the Fu clan.

"That place is the Octagram Arena, Cafe, and Training hall. It's actually one of the 3 planes wonders as it is a masterwork of ancient formations masters. What allows us to look through it like a window is a formation lost to time, there are also private rooms within the star in the middle that can be used to observe the arena and even record fight data."

"It's actually not a dome but an entire sphere there are stands that can rise from the ground on each side to seat audiences that have the same see through formation allowing those with no money to get in to still be able to spectate the matches. Under the arena is a waiting area and a training chamber with time dilation formations making here one of the 9 best places to train in all of the 3 realms."

By the time Fu Shen finished explaining about the arena Wo Shie was speechless, this was nothing he'd ever expected. He had no idea what formations were but to be able to do so many magical things. The more he thought about his life with his mother and the witch doctor he started to realize how much of the world he was missing out one.

With this realization it also made him question why they were even in a backwater place like they were and question even more what could he have that was so magical to make people come after him and his family when things like this exist.

The carriage soon passed the Octogram arena, and entered what looked like a high class shopping district. "I was instruct to buy you some new clothes as we passed through here and I don't think you've changed your outfit since we met." Fu Shen as he held his nose and the carriage stopped for them to get out.

Wo Shie gritted his teeth because the comment had hit a sore spot reminding him about everything he knew and didn't get the chance to appreciate was snatched away from him before he even got to know what this world was.

Seeing Wo Shie's reaction Fu Shen felt slightly bad as he could partially understand what this little kid was going through. Having his own understanding of that kind of trauma he decided not to say anything as a kid that's alone in this world often just needs time to think and grow accustomed to the world they live in.

Fu Shen got off the carriage to be followed shortly by Wo Shie. He led Wo Shie to a clothing store called Enchanted Bazaar, the store was owned by a foreigner but his sense of style accompanied by his weaving and threading was second to none. If anyone was to be Titled God of their craft it was the owner of this shop as he had almost entirely monopolized the enchanted stitch making industry throughout all three realms, it was even rumored that his shop spread beyond this universe.

Once they entered they we're greeted by a store clerk, "Good morning, how may I assist these two young masters?"

"I am here to get my little brother some clothes,it seems he's outgrown his last set so we decided to get him enchanted clothing so we don't run into this problem again." Fu Shen said unaware of Wo Shie staring at him through his shades.

When Wo Shie heard Fu Shen address him as his brother it made his heart tremble, he didn't have any siblings, but he wasn't unfamiliar to the concept as he had witnessed a few people that did have them.

"We do have a fitting enchantment, are there any other enchantments you think you may want, there's also a list of enchantments you can select from make your selections and then we can talk about style designs." The clerk modestly replied.

After looking at the list of enchantments that probably thousands of enchantments, Wo Shie and Fu Shen picked a few from the popular list. One the picket was spatial pockets was lithe same thing as a spatial ring just in the form of a pocket on the clothes, their side varied but they got the max sized on which was 100,000 cubic km. Wo Shie didn't think he needed this much space but Fu Shen insisted on getting the best choices possible.

They also chose a self mending enchantment giving the clothes the ability to repair themselves as long as they weren't disintegrated in one go. There was also a durability and flexability enchantment that gave the clothes a god like durability and flexibility. It wouldn't act as extra defenses so he could still get hurt but at least his drip would remain unharmed from just about anything, outside of some monstrous existences.

The last enchantment he selected was called spirit integration where he could infuse his spiritual energy into his clothes that would actually boost his defense physical strength and speed. It would be overpowered if not everyone had access to modifying their clothes with enchantments but with everyone having access to enchanted clothing the playing field was relatively equal.
