"And what about you Sophia, what do you have to say?" Rita threw the question to Sophia.
Sophia never wanted to talk. She was not the type to talk too much. She mostly used facial expressions and Mera would understand. Mera was more than a friend to her, Mera was the only family she had.
"Well, what can I say, she has her life to live. I have mine to live but whatever she decides I am in full support. Knowing Mera as one of the best things that had ever happened to me," Sophia said and tears started flowing from her eyes.
The tears following from her eyes said it all, it was evident that all the extensions and all were for Mera. Mera rushed and hugged Sophia.
Rita saw this and was not too comfortable, "Mera you would have to extend your stay in this prison by two and a half years. You cannot leave Sophia here all by herself, never!" Rita protested. Her eyes too were watery.
