When the panic spread inside the shopping mall, everyone rushed out. They tried to go to the kid's toys section but couldn't as it was on the third floor where the portal opened. The authorities assured them of rescuing everyone, but they lied and left civilians trapped inside, left to die.
"Those association's bastards. Leaving civilians to die in our territory... Are they trying to pin the blame on us Scarlet family? The Rosewarth family... They must have bribed them to drag us down. Damn those heartless bastards," William grumbled in anger.
"What should we do now?"
"The energy around the unstable portal won't let anyone enter the floor... We can see the red sparks from down here..."
