A silver bridge covered with layers of snow was the only thing that connected Yigena and the northern kingdom of Erha. This kingdom, along with Raxes, had a blue sun that highlighted the kingdom as the blue country. Aside from the blue sun, the northern kingdom was also known as the water country, the only kingdom in the Yigena continent that was separated as an island.
This entire island was later on called Erha. Known to be calm, the Silver Bloods ruled the kingdom harmoniously with all the races, even the lowest. King Xerxes highlighted the northern kingdom's name when he abolished the slavery system and set rules that made every slave in the entire Yigena wish that they lived there.
But to gain passage in this radiant kingdom was not an easy feat.
Erha had the most astounding security system and allowed passage to those with the king's consent. With the other half facing the land of Yigena and the other half facing the Sea of Damn, where people believed that beyond this sea, the dead roamed free, for it was connected to the land outside the wall.
The Northerners were unafraid, for the sacred northern dragons guarded the Erha sea territory.
The situation was the opposite in the eastern kingdom of Raxes though citizens remained clueless; the Council of Six members was restless.
The Council of Six was composed of the six wise men of the Silver Bloods. They were an important group of Silver Bloods in the land of Yigena who took an oath to simply guide the royal families of the silver blood race. With the impending bloodshed in the eastern wall, the Council of Six came to Raxes and took the matters at hand.
Sitting at the war room's round table were the Council of Six members with King Kuhei and Captain Ero. King Kuhei, though thankful for the help, was not that happy with the interference. A meeting for a proposal was a waste of time, but tradition would always be a tradition.
The first wise man, Toshi, heaved a heavy sigh breaking his silence.
"Words traveled to us, Kuhei, and it seems nothing is good in Raxes."
The eastern king straightened his back and stared directly at Toshi before answering. "Words from Raxes are nothing but grave words, Toshi." The king confirmed the dire situation Raxes was facing. Toshi nodded his head in understanding.
"And words carried other information to us, Kuhei. It seems that the kings of Yigena united for a discreet meeting at the Fortress of Galabhan," Surhei, the second eldest of the Council of Six, said before he sipped his tea.
"Yes. We came up with an irrevocable decision we hope you would agree with." King Kuhei paused for a moment preparing the people around the table for the decision that the kings agreed upon. This decision would be carried out with or without the approval of the Council of Six.
"And that would be?" Toshi asked, somewhat knowing that whatever the kings agreed, they had no choice but to agree.
"The revival of the Seven Deadly Sins."
King Kuhei's words silenced the room for a moment before an uproar commenced. The Council of Six started yelling at each other, arguing like they had a say on the matter. On the other hand, Captain Ero remained silent as his thoughts drifted back and forth.
King Kuhei expected a reaction to a decision like this. The revival of the Seven Deadly Sins was not a laughing subject by the Silver Bloods.
The Seven Deadly Sins were also known as the Bad Bloods. They were the only seven Red Bloods with the power to fight the Silver Bloods. They were first dubbed as criminals united by their leader, the sin of Wrath. These criminals were taken in by King Theodas, king of the lost kingdom of Torah.
They fought the Silver Bloods and their dragons equally and succeeded. But all had been lost since King Theodas died, and thus the start of the lost kingdom to fall. The Seven Deadly Sins left and were never to be seen again.
Many claimed they died in shame, but the Silver Bloods knew better. The Seven Deadly Sins were gifted by the Elixir of Immortality, and a sacred weapon could only kill them.
King Kuhei had his squire dug information about the mythical Seven Deadly Sins, and so far, everything was vague. For many centuries, Yigena tried to forget the seven Bad Bloods that brought nightmares to children. Aside from being dubbed as Bad Bloods, they were also known as dragon slayers - posing grave dangers for the dragon riders.
"Silence!" King Kuhei silenced them all, and the Council of Six calmed immediately upon seeing the king angry. The squire came rushing in and aided the mad king.
"Forgive us, Kuhei. You knew who we were talking about, right?" Rasodee reasoned out, the third eldest of the Council of Six. King Kuhei drew a deep breath.
"You must know this is a challenging decision for the kings. This might backfire on the four kingdoms, but we have no choice. Time is our enemy," Captain Ero suddenly said, which made the Council of Six thought about the idea all over again.
"Ero is right. It was not easy for us, especially for the southern kingdom," King Kuhei calmly said. He gave Ero a quick thankful glance before giving the Council of Six his attention again.
"Then we have no choice for the matter, but we thank you for telling us, Kuhei," Toshi said on behalf of the Council of Six.
"But how can we revive them? We don't hold much of a record for them," Surhei asked as his brows met.
"That is where you are wrong, Surhei. Captain Ero, will you please." King Kuhei nodded at Ero. The young captain of the most prestigious group of knights in the entire Yigena continent stood in front of the king and the Council of Six.
"As of this very moment, a single Avatar is the only one guarding the wall for two seasons without any help from the military. Let me rephrase it - a single Avatar is on a rampage killing anyone near the wall."
Knowing what was beyond the wall, the Council of Six went silent. King Kuhei, on the other hand, shook his head in disbelief. He was still astonished by how that Avatar single-handedly defended the wall all this time. A task that was impossible for any Avatar...to hunt.
"Perhaps the Avatar came from the vampire coven or the lupine pack?" Toshi asked Captain Ero.
"No, the Avatar came from the cursed Red Bloods, the hellhound race." King Kuhei answered instead.
"What's the Avatar got to do with the Seven Deadly Sins?" Shion, the fourth eldest of the Council of Six, asked.
"The Avatar got to do with everything, Elder Shion. My cavalry will take over the post outside the wall in exchange for a mission the four kings believed that this one-of-a-kind Avatar could only do. And that is to search the Seven Deadly Sins across Yigena," Captain Ero explained.
"But how can this Avatar find them if they don't want to be found?" Toshi asked again.
"The four kings have it planned already, Elder Toshi."
