Bryan, who started life 3-0 behind, never had a chance for girls.
He had eaten his first rejection in middle school. It was a time when the flame of life within it was warm and active.
"Adele, I like you. Would you please accept my feelings?"
Adele was the daughter of a math teacher. Everyone hated him and ostracized him. It could be said to be in a similar situation with Bryan. He was average in terms of appearance, but his lessons were far ahead of the rest.
He was identical to Bryan except in appearance. Ostracized by others, successful but small but dissatisfied with life...
"I'm sorry, but I like someone else."
That was the answer he got. Why did he get such an answer? Because the boy he liked was even worse than Bryan. He was a bully, rude, mocking people, failing in his classes but popular.
Did he choose him only because of his appearance?
His second refusal was in high school. Although everything was different, the answer he received was not much different.
Layla was the most beautiful girl in the class. A lot of men were running after him. She was almost a queen. She was a beautiful girl who embellished Bryan's dreams. So much so that every time he saw her, his greasy heart would beat faster than ever. Butterflies would fly in his big stomach.
"Layla! I like you immensely! Will you date me?"
It was a quick answer, as if it had been studied before. It was so fast that even the extension in 'are you' didn't stop.
"I'm sorry, but I love someone else."
Everything was that simple. Just six words was enough to shatter the confidence he had been building up for weeks. Perhaps the ugly had no right to love. It wouldn't suit them to be happy or smile.
For a long time, he never smiled or tried to get close to someone else.
That is, until he met a girl in his third year of high school. For the first time in his life, his feelings received a response. He met a girl who put a smile on his face.
But it didn't last long either.
High School 3, First Semester.
It was a rainy day. Pea-sized raindrops falling from the sky were beating the fat teenager's body in anger.
His light-lost eyes seemed to be watching over and over again the scene he had experienced a few minutes earlier as he stared at the wet sidewalks.
"Bryan I'm sorry, but I need to break up with you."
"???"
"I don't want that either, but my dad wouldn't let me be with someone like you."
"???"
"You changed, Bryan, you said you were going to solve your weight problem, but it got worse. I'm sorry, but you're the one who doesn't keep your promises."
"..."
"Don't forget to delete my number and photos! It was nice to hang out with you, goodbye..."
"..."
"..."
"???!!!"
That's simply what happened. During the whole process, he could not say a word or say 'don't go'.
She didn't cry or feel anything.
It was empty.
For the first time, he didn't feel anything.

The streets of Black Tiger City were as desolate and cold as ever. The small frozen puddles that heralded the arrival of frost stood there, unaware of the grief of the young man who walked without caring about them.
The bright moon that rose into the sky illuminated the streets of the dim and dark city to some extent, beautifying the streets painted in an ugly color.
The young man walking these streets was someone who was 1.80 years tall and had problems such as extreme obesity. His body was so large that it was like a wall dividing the sidewalks in two.
That person was Bryan. She was wearing a leather coat that almost crumbled to pieces, and an elastic tracksuit over her columnar legs.
Bryan's life, which deals with extreme obesity, was so pathetic that it was the subject of a drama film. She had been dealing with this damn weight problem since she was a baby. This problem was such a curse that he had lost a lot because of it.
The girl he liked in elementary school made fun of his weight, which drove him into months of depression. For someone who was not handsome or rich, ugliness was a nightmare. Moreover, if you had a poor and rare problem, it was much worse. You would be particularly noticeable and noticed by more 'privileged' people.
Wherever Bryan went, he was always the target of such problems.
With a new load added to it, it no longer had the strength to endure.
In the darkness of the cold night, Bryan drove from street to street, street to street, and set a new record by coming the five-minute journey in half an hour.
But even that short walk was enough to finish him off.
This was the Wyner Quarter, one of the poorer districts of Black Tiger City. All the residents of the neighborhood were on an equal footing with Bryan's mother.
Bryan also hated his mother. It was entirely his fault that he was born that way. His inability to hold the hands of the girls he liked, the evasive answers he received when he confessed, his inability to even get off the bench while others were having fun with his friends; it was all the fault of that woman's and man's defective genes.
"I've tried to avoid diseases all my life. I stayed away from what others ate with pleasure, I ran until every time I fainted. But... But! This diseased body, inherited from the two of them, is in this state despite all my efforts!"
He had dealt with many different diseases in the past. Hypertension, chronic diseases... at the time he had prayed that these diseases would kill him, but his prayers went unanswered. So he had no faith in anything.
Even to himself...
Bryan was a coward.
He didn't have the courage to commit suicide.
Then he came to the front of an old slum. There was a handprint left on the red walls. Although it looked different from its original color in the darkness of the night, its poor quality was very obvious. This was Bryan's house that he hated to be but had to. His rent was almost non-existent. It was like buying an item that no longer needed it at a price of nothing.
He pushed open the iron door that had been placed so that the cat and dog would not enter, and stepped into the dark courtyard. No lighting was installed here so that the electricity bill would not be too much.
As the blind lame moved, a raindrop fell on his cheek.
"Where am I going wrong?"
After a mouthful of curses, he entered the house. As soon as he entered the house as he expected, it began to rain as if emptying the glass. Apparently, there was no sleep rest tonight. Angered, he threw his shoes aside and went inside.
"I came!" Cried. "I say I'm here! Don't you have a welcome?"
Strangely, there was no sound again. Bryan nervously went to the living room, the room where his mother lay. After angrily opening the door, hot air struck him in the face.
There was no one on the old seat. Bryan's anger spilled over into his brain this time. He was already about to become depressed because he had broken up with his 'lover', and what this woman did drove him crazy.
He walked out of the room and headed for his own room. Her heavy and disproportionate body was changing direction every step of the way. Luckily his room wasn't far away. Five steps later, he managed to reach the room.
He lowered the handle of the green door with the paint spilled.
"Locked?" he murmured. The door to his room would never be locked. When he couldn't open the door a few more times, he gave up and decided to sleep in the living room.
"Damn woman."
But he wasn't in a position to care. He was distracted by what had happened today and had lost a little of the confidence he had gained. He also didn't want to wake up because he knew what was going to happen when he woke up.
He closed his eyes.
