"The sacred paths to Hell are one that is covered with blood, fury and death. Curse is he who walks down the path, and curse is he whose feet treads the broken skulls.
Hearken unto me my beloved and tread not the paths that lead to eternal damnation, for thy eternal soul is worth more than diamond and Ruby." Book of the Damned.
Ogun crashed hard into the Gate of Hell, breaking down the Gate and laying to destruction the walls around it. Ogun stood on his feet, he had fell off when the Leviathan's head, one of the Seven Lord's of Hell, the Beast he rode on, crashed on to the Gate.
Ogun looked at the Beast, lying helpless on the ground, at his feet, a Beast who once wrought destruction in the land of the Living, now devoid of life. It has served it's purpose for Ogun. For there is no way that Ogun could have walked through the Gate of Hell. No spell, no magic, no power on earth could have opened the Gate of Hell to him.
For the White Sceptre of Orunmila had revealed unto Ogun that the only way he could make it alive into the Gate of Hell was to ride the Ancient Beast of the deep sea Leviathan down to the Gate of Hell itself.
Ogun looked around, the sacred path was before him now, the Gate had collapsed really hard, and now, nothing, no power or demon will stop him from exacting his fury and vengeance on the remaining Lord's of Hell, for ruining his Temple and more importantly, for taking Asake soul to Hell.
Ogun treaded the sacred path courteously, looking all around him, the sacred path was covered in skulls. Skulls of different creatures who had once tried in their lifetime to tread the sacred path to Hell.
Some were humans, others were creatures known to him , and others looked unfamiliar to Ogun.
"They must have been creatures from other world's" muttered Ogun to himself.
Legend has it that long ago, when warriors committed treason or a grievous crime, they will be captured and sent down the sacred paths as their punishment, where they will be devoured and their soul will be sentenced to eternal damnation in the abyss of Hell.
Ogun now cared less about the rumours, for whatever it was that devoured those souls and left those skulls will soon be coming for him, and he must be ready to face whatever comes at him.
The path took him through a deep mountain, a void mountain. The deep mountain was made of trees without leaves, entire grounds made up of skulls.
Ogun stopped, he heard a twitching from his back, the twitching sound came through the woods.
"something evil lurks around these woods" he muttered to himself.
something was watching him, no, it was hunting him.
Ogun stopped, carefully putting his hands slowly behind him and drawing his sword slowly.
Ogun took a step forward, and with a swift move, he jumped to his left, landing on his left feet as the creature leaped right pass him with his fingers clawing out against each other. The creature landed right just past him, a few meters to the right and the creature would have sunk his claws deep in Ogun skull.
Ogun knew what it was that stand before him, a soulless creature that feeds on souls for a living. Ogun had often read about it in the Knowing ones Library, in a book called Ancient of Evils.
The book was said to contain only the details of every Ancient Evil creature that exists in the universe.
Creatures so evil that their names were forbidden to be mentioned across the Universe, and their identity must be kept a secret, hidden within the Book of Ancient Evil.
The creature was big like a man, but he had claws instead of hands and feet like that of a man, his face was covered with hairs with only one eye at the center of his head.
The creature, an abomination of creation called Iwin.
With his long claws that are like swords, he swinged his claws simultaneously towards Ogun, Ogun blocked it off with his swords, cutting through the claws, the creature screamed, Ogun leaped towards the creature, taking charge and setting the tone of the fight. Ogun struck the creature on his right claw, it fell off to the ground of skulls, and with a kick to the stomach, the creature fell to the ground.
The creature looked at his right claw, screaming out loud, the right claw grew back to it's formal position.
Ogun jumped back, he attempted to dodge the incoming left claw, but Ogun couldn't move. The creature had wrapped his right claw around Ogun waist, pulling him closer to himself. The creature began squeezing Ogun from the waist, and using his left claw to draw Ogun soul away.
"You are stronger than this, powerful than this, you are a warrior god" The man's voice echoed in Ogun head.
Still trying to draw his soul out of him, Ogun struggled, raised his hand up and two swords flew out of nowhere, cutting the creature's double claws on the ground. The creature screamed out once more, and a forward straight slash, Ogun drove his sword right through the creature's Head, severing his head from his body, Ogun impaled the creature's Head on the ground of skulls.
Injured and his soul almost sucked out, Ogun reached for the parch of water given to him by the Yeye goddess of Osun River, he drank the whole healing water hurriedly, lying down among the skulls, he could feel his soul restoring, his energy coming back to him.

"The Lords of the Living world are gathering together, far from different corners of the world, my Lord." the Raven said to Lucifer, King of Hell.
" Hmm, then it is time" said Lucifer,
" sound the bell across Hell, it is time to take the world of the Living, it is ripe for harvest and it is ours. We shall expand the Kingdom of Hell to the far corners of this world."
"We have to unite and fight as one, if we are to survive this invasion" said the King Obayan of the Kingdom of Benin.
The kingdom of Benin was a legendary kingdom, full of life and riches, the people of the kingdom traded in different kinds of merchandise. It was a home of far great civilization in it's time. Growing far beyond other Kingdoms in the world.
"You are right, we have to fight as one" said King Oranmiyan.
"No kingdom banner, we all fight under one banner, the flag of humanity" said the King of the Northern Kingdom.
The King's had set aside their differences, new Kingdoms emerging from the shadows and joining the great meeting of the King's. Hell armies Marched upon us in hordes, attacking from both sides of the world, giving no space for retaliation.
"The time to act is now" said King Asporet of the East Kingdom.
All the king's gathered and agreed to fight as one. They all gathered their armies together and marched towards the center of the world, a place called Magog.
On that day, it was recorded in history, as the day that the great armies of men marched into war together, United as one.
They all marched to the battlefield, under one banner, the flag of humanity designed by one of the professors in the Kingdom of Benin.
"Hmm, we have to help them, we can't just sit and do nothing" said Sango at the meeting of the Elder gods.
"Silence, boy" said Orunmila.
"It is not in our place to fight for them against the Lord's of Hell" said Orunmila.
"Hmm" sigh The Knowing ones.
"We are not cowards, we are not afraid to fight the armies and Lord's of Hell" said Yeye Osun.
Orunmila grunts, carefully hiding his anger against Yeye Osun, for she had escape Ogun from his grip, the insolent little god who thinks of himself as a leader. flooding his palace with her waters.
"Enough, we shall watch from here, perhaps we may decide to intervene and save the humans from this destruction brought upon them by the Lord's of Hell" said Orunmila.
"We can't let them perish" Yeye Osun muttered to Sango.
"We have to help them" she said.
The armies of Hell gathered at Magog, led by Satan and Mammon.
"it is time" Mammon raised up his spear and all the armies of Hell began shouting and roaring. The sun refused to shine, and the day became evening.
Ogun woke up, his full strength has returned. He got up, looked at the ugly face of the creature who almost sucked his soul out, he had impaled the creature's Head.
Ogun continued his journey, walking down the sacred path. He got to a place, to his left were corpses left hanging on a pole, to his right were heaps of skeletons, and to his front, stood a man with a black horse. He approached the man, the strange man offered him the reins of the black horse.
"Ogun, child of the knowing ones, take it, it is yours" said the strange man to Ogun.
"Who are you?" asked Ogun
"I am but a messenger of the knowing ones, the journey ahead of you is long and weary, take the horse" answered the strange man.
Ogun collect the reins from the strange man, and he disappeared as the reins left his hand.
Ogun pat the horse's neck and the horse neigh, he leaped on the horse, turning it around and continued riding the Horse down to the Path of Hell.
