The wind began to settle lightly as the day transitioned to dusk.
"We're been scared, your father and I. Our city crashed in some odd city. It was such a scary experience. Alot of people died, but your father and I made it out somehow." Miyuki's mother, Tosa, explained her own turmoil.
"I'm sorry to hear that Mom. Where is Dad anyway?" Miyuki asked of his mother.
"Gen-kun is in our room, I'll go get him. I want him to see you. He misses you too you know." Tosa stood and quickly made her way to the master bedroom.
Quite the shuffle could be heard as it seems Tosa was trying to wake Gen.
Leonidas, who stood silent the entire conversation, finally spoke.
"Your mother is a real sweet woman." He said, in a relaxed tone.
"Thanks. Tell her that yourself Leon." Miyuki replied.
The master bedroom's door finally opened. Everyone's heads turned to see Gen and Tosa. The two stepped out of the room. Gen looked like he had just been awaken from an extreme hibernation, like he had slept for years.
"Huh? W-Why is there so many people in our living room, sweetie? Wait, Miyuki?" Gen quickly got over to his son, to also embrace him, as he missed him dearly as well.
"Dad yeah, it's me. These are my friends. I can explain everything to you momentarily, as I did to Mom."
"You actually got friends now? Hard to believe, but I'm happy for you."
Miyuki sighed.

"You know, I'd actually like to grab a bite, any good places nearby?" Sakuta asked.
"Hmm, Mom? Do you know? I don't know what has changed since I've been gone."
"Hm. How about we all go and decide on the way there?" Tosa answered.
"Is anyone here 'picky'?" Avery added.
The room fell silent momentarily.
"That answered your question." Gen snickered. "Miyuki you really are quite the dog, having two girl's on each arm basically."
"I guess so. Do you guys see it that way? I mean I could barely get Evelyn to agree."
"Nah."
"Not really."
"Nope."

"Uh, what is this? A metal carriage?" Lillith asked, not knowing what a car is.
"It's my Subaru, a car to be simple." Tosa replied.
"That doesn't really answer my question-"
"Lillith, your first thought was right, it's basically a fast, metal carriage." Sakuta interrupted his daughter.

Surprisingly, the whole group had fit inside of the S.U.V.
The roads were slick with ice and snow as the vehicle drove downtown.
Again, no one walked the streets.
"So uh, Mom, any idea as to why no one is around, like walking around?"
She thought about it briefly.
"To be honest, I'm surprised your father and I made it out alright. Plus, we haven't left home since we fell out of the sky. So I don't know is more akin of a short answer."
"Odd way to put it but alright."
The car passed over a puddle in the ice.
Unbeknownst to the passengers, that puddle was not water.
It was a dark-crimson.

The snow crunched beneath Ethan's feet.
The cold was slightly overwhelming, but he was used to the cold from his magic. The sun was beginning to lower as he continued. He thought to himself over and over. The same thought replayed in his mind.
The slaughter of his family.
"Ethan."
"Ethan someone is coming!"
Luminous and Dusk tried to warn him.
"Ouuf-"
Ethan was bumped into, causing his face to meet the snow-covered pavement.
"Shit. Sorry man." The rude man reached a hand out to Ethan. "I didn't see you. I was running, my fault entirely. We got to get out of here quick though."
"Huh?" He took the man's hand and got back up. Ethan dusted the snow from off his clothing.
"You're wearing some strange things buddy." The man asked. "What's your name?" He finished as he held his hand out again, this time for a handshake.
Ethan stared at his hand. He took ahold of it.
"Yeah, I um, I'm Ethan. Ethan Josephine. What was it that you were running from-?"
He was interrupted by the man.
"I'm Haisha Ito. We gotta go now." He grabbed Ethan's hand and began to book it.
"Augh- What the hell!? I can run on my own! What are we running from." He let go of his new ally's hand and stayed at Haisha's pace.
"There was an Oni, I saw it. Their skin was red and they had horns. They also had white hair, it was a picture-perfect Oni." He muttered out as they ran.
"Oni? Hm. Dusk, contact Miyuki and the others, this might me something. Also tell them I found another person, his name was.... what's your name?"
"It's Haisha." Himself and Dusk both shouted out to Ethan.
"Miyuki!? Like Azagawa!?"
"I'll explain in a moment!" Ethan replied quickly.
"I'm on it!" Dusk dissipated instantly.

Siiiiiiiiipp.
He thoroughly tasted the drink.
"Miyuki, why is this beverage, slightly spicy?" Leonidas asked as he took a sip from the soda.
"It's carbonation." Sakuta and Miyuki both answered.
"Carbonation?" Evelyn asked.
"It puts those bubbles in the drink." Miyuki swirled his drink.
He offered everyone to get soda, as he wanted everyone to try it. He mostly wanted to see their strange expressions at they drank the carbonated drinks.
"So your people have a process of creating food, in a fast way? They also call it 'fast food'?" Avery asked, as she was intrigued by the developments from his Earth.
"Yeah. This Earth is pretty evolved. But we still don't have magic or powers or anything too special like that.' Miyuki pouted, but stopped as he remembered he also has powers.
"Your friends are odd Miyuki. Are we truly not on Earth anymore?" Gen asked.
"No father, we are on 'a' Earth, but not the one we know-"
Dusk appeared from thin air.
"Miyuki! Ethan found someone, and they're being chased! His new friend is named Haisha! An Oni is chasing them, what ever that is."
"Oni?" Gen and Tosa blurted in unison.
"Wait! Haisha!?" Miyuki dropped his soda, crashing onto the porcelain floor.
