He stood there, in the cathedral of the castle, facing the crowd of the royal knights and some citizens. Sweat beaded down his forehead. Miyuki tugged on his new tailcoat anxiously. The white jacket with red and yellow decals, shined brilliantly. Miyuki was nervous.
"Do I deserve this? Do I deserve the praise? I'm a murderer by technical means. I don't understand how I'm a hero. But I should be happy, Evelyn is awake now, and I'm going to become her knight. I should be happy." He thought briefly.
Miyuki blinked and Leonidas stood before him.
"Miyuki, kneel." He whispered over to the him. Miyuki got down onto his right knee, he looked down onto the porcelain floor for a moment, breathing in and out. He finally looked up, facing Leonidas, who now wielded a sword.
"Miyuki. I am proud, to formally knight you, and to have you join the ranks of the Royal Knight Command. You will make a formidable knight, and a formidable hero." He then gripped when hilt with both hands.
He put the sword on Miyuki's right shoulder.
"Once."
He then rested the blade onto his left shoulder.
"Twice."
Leonidas then placed the sword onto Miyuki's head, lightly tapping his hair.
"Thrice."
He then held the sword, blade parallel with the ground, the blade resting on Leonidas right hand and hilt on his left.
"Miyuki Azagawa, you are now a knight of the Royal Knight Command of Valis. Be proud of yourself, as we are all proud of you." He smiled to the still-kneeling Miyuki.
"Thank you, Leon." Miyuki smiled back.
He nodded.
"Now, it is time for Queen Evelyn Valis to knight Miyuki as her knight." Leonidas turned to face the crowd as he announced.
Evelyn stepped onto the post, looking more magnificent than she ever had before. She wore a crimson gown, that was long and held towards the end by two knights. She wore an extravagant crown, that somewhat resembled a dragon head. It was probably supposed to look like Valis, the dragon underneath the castle. Miyuki could barely hold himself together as he saw Evelyn.
She was angelic.
She was asolutely magical.
Leonidas passed the sword into Evelyn's hands, then he stepped away from the two. She stood there, gripping the sword.
"Miyuki, it's okay, I'm nervous too." She whispered. He lightly chuckled.
"Miyuki, do you swear to always be by my side, to protect me?"
"Yes, your majesty."
"Do you promise to think about me first, always?"
He laughed. "Yes, your majesty."
She blew a raspberry. "I'm serious you know, but besides that, do you promise to stay as my knight, even when times get tough?"
"Yes, your majesty."
"I'm sorry, I don't really know how this goes, but you understand."
He laughed again. "Yes, of course your majesty."
She placed the sword onto his right shoulder, then onto his left.
"Miyuki, you are now my knight." She handed the sword to Leonidas, then faced Miyuki, grinning. She then quickly embraced him, as he still knelt.
"Oh wow Evelyn, I wasn't expecting this." He embraced her as well, holding onto her tightly.
She felt warm.
A tear fell down his cheek. "You're safe now, Evelyn."
"If you're with me, I will be."

A small orchestra filled the ballroom as Miyuki took one of the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers off of the table, and ate it in a millisecond.
"Goddamn this is good. Never would have guessed they had these here." He shoved another into his mouth.
"Oh Miyuki, I see you're enjoying the 'stuffed jalap." Sakuta remarked.
"What.... did you call it?" Miyuki felt his blood boil.
"A stuffed jalap? It's wrapped with sliced pigbelly."
"Bro, why is everything here named so weird?"
"I don't know man, I just accept it."
They're little conversation was interrupted by an angel tapping Miyuki on the shoulder.
"Miyuki, would you like to have this dance?" Evelyn asked.
"Of course, Evelyn, Sakuta, I'll be back momentarily." He took her hand and she led him to the ballroom's dance floor.
They held eachother's hands, staring into eachother's eyes.
"Evelyn, you're so beautiful."
"Thank you. You look handsome yourself you know." She winked at him.
Miyuki took ahold of her and they slowly danced to the rhythm of the music.
"I'm so happy you're okay now Evelyn. I wish we could do this forever."
"Me too Miyuki. Me too."
