" Uncle, uncle" Alvah could hear Zillah's voice from a distance and he walked closer to where the voice was coming from.
When she came in sight he stopped and she stopped as well. " He left to get something" he said to her looking backwards to the direction Ghazan left.
She didn't respond to him. Alvah hated the feeling of having to act like they weren't together and more like strangers it stung him and he didn't like it.
" Zillah what's going on with you?". He was getting bothered and trouble by her actions towards him. " You seem to have arrived in Elysian without the knowledge of anyone, how'd you get in?".
He suspected that she noticed this when he walked into the room and she was shocked by his presence. " I came in through your window. When you were asleep". He was Soo collected and calm.
" Ahhh, like a thief in the night is that so?". She questioned rhetorically but he replied to her. " No ".
She rolled her eyes on him and looked away. " Zillah why are you acting this way, what happened to you?". He was genuinely annoyed and worried about what was going on between the both of them.
Zillah could only flame on the inside hearing his voice. And he teleported to her holding her tightly. It was their first contact since they saw each other. " Don't touch me Alvah!" Her voice raged at him.
" Why, why shouldn't I touch you?. You never wanted me to leave you now..."
" Yet you did, didn't you Alvah?" She asked him almost yelling. " Are you really still upset about that, I told you I would come back and I did. I am here".
" Well I don't need you or your presence, no one does actually. You really should go back to..." They both kept intercepting themselves but letting each other speak.
" Is this because of the punishment that Omna gave to you". He inferred that this was the only reason why. " You do know about that don't you".
" Zillah I am Soo sorry ".
" I hate apologies coming from you particularly Alvah". She pointed at him. " But it was never my fault Zillah I had no idea what was happening here". Genuinely he had no idea that she was going through all this except. " Do you need to be here to know this Alvah. The bond think doesn't work anymore the moment you're out of Elysian is that your implication?".
Yes, Zillah had her full hopes up that it anything happened to either of them they would be there for each other but did Alvah vow that he would not respond with anything coming from her end because his end was safe compared to hers.
" Wait Zillah" he tried to explain himself but she didn't let him. " The only reason why I got punished in the first place was because you forgot to return the book that you made me take from the library with no one's permission. Yes, we got caught and I suffered the loss isn't it?, your fault is it not?"
" I did not know you never returned the book it was underneath your carpet the whole time. And why was Omna in your room?"
" You don't get what is going on here do you?" She was Soo mad that she did not understand herself any longer.
" I do Zillah I really do, you ended up in that ice cell because you thought that I would save you but I did not. Zillah I'm Soo sorry". He apologized gravely to her but she wasn't accepting this anymore.
"Your apology means nothing Alvah". She began tearing up. " I was already already punished, I have almost frozen up like an ice pop. What can you do to change that?".
" I don't know what else to do Zillah than to be there for you I already feel Soo miserable". He squished his hair in confusion. " Please forgive me Zillah " he pleaded getting closer to her he held her hands in his and looked deeply in her eyes and he saw nothing but anger that was beginning to look like hatred.
Was Zillah beginning to hate him. His hearts squeezed tightly seizing his breath but he managed to control himself.
She released his hands from her, rolling up her sleeves. He watched her as she rolled it up until her saw her burn marks.
He jaw dropped in fear of what his eyes beheld. " Zillah".
"Hmm" she paused her lips in a line as if surprised by the scar on her own body.
He had an unruly shock and he looked back at her with intense glare. " Burn marks" he whispered to himself.
" Who did this to you?". A glint of anger was heard in his voice. She pulled her arms away as he held her earlier.
" Your home. Your people". Her words always pierced his soul. Why does she refer to the infernals and Tartarus as his home.
" They are not my..."
" They are your people, believe it or you deny yourself. They came for you didn't they?". " Where is Alvah?, I had no idea".
" I am innocent in all of this but your name brings chaos in my life Alvah. Just leave me alone please ". She yelled loudly
" Zillah please, I am..." He struggled to explain
With the way Alvah always treated her, responded to her, never available in her hour of needs, no affection nor concern that she always wanted but never felt. She could not explain how much this made her feel unwanted and disconnected from him.
" I don't need your apologies Alvah I hate them!" She yelled right back in his face
And his claws grazed on Zillah face, brutally, leaving deep cuts and blood gushing out.
And something inside of Zillah snapped.
She realized that he finally lost his temper on her like the Alvah she knew. He had never died after all. She scoffed.
what if alvah never actually liked her not to think about loved her.
Otherwise how and who on earth would harm the person they claimed they loved. Her partner and soul mate to be precise.
She thought, inspite of the fact that he's blazed furiously, does that mean that she isn't even the one capable to calm her raging partner. And why can't he recognize her even in this state. Lost in her deep thoughts, she unconsciously sat on the hard rock surface with teary eyes blazing with anger.
His anger issues and lack of control always got the best of him. She had reached her limits too but she's too useless and incapable of even laying a finger on him but he did on her.
Bewildered and stupefied, she heard a loud roar and She looked ahead to see that the lion had unbelievably separated from the cheetah.
His cheetah had summoned itself, grabbing her legs brutally injuring her ankles in attempt to getting a tight grip on her and clawed her face out. Turns out his beasts were feeling his emotions, which was unusual. It lost it's temperance and appeared out of Alvah, taking him unawares and bruised Zillah. Zillah was perplexed at Alvah. Who was he exactly?. She asked herself in horror.
The lion looked at her in a terrified way and she was in a rumble. Her mind was disorganized. ' is he going to attack me?' Her greatest fear was that his beast would appear and attack her and the last time she got chased by one of them, the lion. She had barely made it alive.
But It seemed to her that the lion was empathetic towards her. How on earth did a lion have emotions. She wasn't very familiar with his beasts afterall. Slowly and surely the lion was coming towards her.
She agitated on what to do, although she was weak kneed, frightened and disordered, she managed to get up teleporting for her life. The lion attempted going after but realized he might be frightening her even more.
So he focused his anger to the root of the cause of her terror and bleeding out, the cheetah.
In his years of existence he had never felt this much overflowing emotions towards someone except his masters, precisely Alvah. He took Alvah's life way too seriously because Alvah can be said to be his youngest master.
As the supreme among the 7 of them beasts, and strength like that of a feeble mammoth, he crushed and brutally injured the cheetah knowing within him that when Alvah was back to consciousness because he had passed out when the cheetah had suddenly ignited and appeared, his master will heal him.
