Chapter 75 - Don't You Dare

Vida was lost in thought. She didn't want to stress as she still had training sessions with him the next day.

She eventually went to bed late. Her recitation, rolling all over the bed and strolling in her room paid off afterall.

....

Time, days and a month passed by.

She was quite lucky that he was quick witted so things went smoothly.

A certain day. It wasn't his training so he went on with his usual act.

She sat beside him to take a moment of cultivation. She can't lie, he really stressed her out.

Her eyes were sealed and so were his, but it shot open as soon as he heard and felt something.

There was intense heat in the surrounding and a sense of great energy.

"Vida!!"

Her eyes widened, she was shocked to her spine and feared to death.

Unable to move, he quickly took her in his arms and teleported far from it.

She buried her face in his chest, with her arms around his neck tightly, she sealed her eyes. Her breath tickled him a bit.

He tried dropping her but she hung onto him.

"What'd you think of that?..." old sage asked coming out from the Flamed dragon.

"How did you do that?", That was the first question Alvah asked. Curiousness didn't let him think if it could have actually hurt them.

Old sage laughed at his question.

Vida, whose sense of hearing stopped working for some seconds because of fear, heard this little converse and slowly opened her eyes.

Rather than a slow and steady opening of her long lashes and eye ball. In a flash, her eyes shot open.

She was bewildered by his looks. He literally took her breath away. She never believed that she was blind till this extent to only realize it now that he is a drop dead gorgeous guy. She was captivated with his jaw line and side profile. She gulped down hard.

But his face wasn't what got her now but actually his upper body which was nude all the while he was with her but she never did notice.

She praised herself for having such focus and priority for her training, not anymore.

"Vida" ... Her grandfather called out to her but she couldn't hear him. Her eyes were glued to his muscles, lean ones. She lustfully looked at his abs with the urge to touch it but she quickly came down, releasing her grip on his neck.

Her face flushed red. It was her first time ever feeling this way towards a man. Her eyes were still looking at him so concentrated.

Alvah ended up looking at her when he realized that she hadn't responded to her grandfather's call.

He looked at her, her face was all red. He expressionlessly sent fire from his palm to her face.

"No!!", she yelled loudly. He only did that to instantly stop her lust daze on him. She could guarantee this wasn't how she saw him when she arrived or that he never took off his clothes.

She touched her face hesitantly. Touching her ever delicate skin it was only hot, she was alright.

He wasn't ignorant of her presence with him. He had only a few more days to leave. He has to finish up with his previous training speedily.

"I.. I'm..S.. Sorry". She wished she could just disappear but she couldn't. But why was she feeling awkward. One is her grandfather and the other is a stranger, and infernal.

She slammed her door. She didn't know why she exaggerated her anger on the door.

"What was that?"...

she asked herself. She placed her hand gently on her chest, " why is it beating so rapidly?". Her chest heaved up and down at a fast pace.

The room was suddenly at a high temperature. Her body was hot. Just as she couldn't stop blushing although she tried to stop it.

Momentarily, rage and anger crept in her heart. She unknowingly burnt herself as she was in a fit of rage.

"Ahh!!"

She groaned in pain when she realized it.

"Don't you dare!". She warned herself. This wasn't the kind of feeling she wanted to have or express. Although she felt safe in his arm but she needed to feel safe differently from that.

Alvah acted like nothing happened, because he didn't even think that way. Old sage looked at him with an unexplained blank expression.

'How is he not bothered by that. He saw his granddaughter blush for the first time. Even him never believed that day would come before his death'.

"I'll try something just before you leave". Old sage

murmured to himself.

" But No!, I shouldn't force him". He intends to set Alvah up with vida. Like Alvah wouldn't know, you can't lie to him.

" But why does he pretend like he felt nothing".

"Old sage do you want to say som....". " Nothing, go ahead with your training". He interrupted him and ended the conversation.

No doubt his murmuring was quite disturbing.

When he got back to the house. Her door was usually closed, but today it looked like it had been locked up and cursed to be never open. So he didn't dare go to talk to her.

" I don't know why... why hasn't it triggered in him yet. If he ends up leaving this place without... Out there might be dangerous for him. And I can't keep him here for an even longer time".

He was panicking seriously. For his age, he really needed rest but the old sage wouldn't rest till everything is settled.

"This can't happen to me". He sighed and went into his room.

....

" I might have felt safe today being in his arms, but the thought of you murdered all my emotions. I'll have to get rid of you permanently Quilan, I promise you".
