" I'll learn the technique of extraction from the book. I should give you back your teleportation, it'll be easier for you to go and come back".
Few minutes had passed, Ghazan gave her back her teleportation.
She went back to Elysian to find the book.
' I can't be seen ', she thought so she decided to go in the night.
" if I'm caught, that's a different story". she laughed at herself.
By past eleven, she snuck into the library to find the book
'It's not easy as I thought'. She sighed
The books she saw were arranged according to history, power, levels and others. After going through different shelves.
She decided to walk a distance away from the shelves to take a broad view. She stood closer to the door.
"The farther the distance, the clearer". She spike wisely.
She looked above, at the uppermost column, it read " eminent ". She climbed upon a stool, looking at the name of each books in that section, she found what she was looking for.
She smiled and took it down. She teleported back to where Alvah and Ghazan were.
He took the book from her, sitting on the grass, he opened the book going through the chapters till he saw, power extraction.
He read through it. This took about three hours.
" Zillah" , he called standing up.
" I wouldn't be able to learn the skill of instillation but with the little I've read, I'll be able to perform only the extraction technique".
"Watch out for me". He took off to where Alvah laid half dead.
Staring at him intensely, he had to connect with Alvah spiritually because he's not active, which is quite difficult.
Zillah watched all the way from the other end, Ghazan meditated for some time, calming his own mind and spirit before trying to find that of Alvah's.
By past two, " I've got him", he opened his eyes quickly. Standing up without any hesitation he threw the crystal away.
Still looking at Alvah in the eyes, although it was closed. This was something he hadn't done before.
"Zillah", she stood up from where she sat.
He immediately extracted one percent, before he could extract the second one, the Celestial beasts all came out of Alvah.
They charged towards Ghazan, he gasped and teleported speedily away from there to Zillah.
Zillah's eyes widened, her heart was hitting hard in her chest.
" Why did they come out?" she asked still getting herself from the fright.
" Surely they can't die inside of Alvah", he responded to her. He knew clearly why the beasts came out.
"The vessel?", she asked looking at his palm which is empty.
Ghazan quickly teleported back and picked it up. They looked in his direction and ran towards him.
He teleported back.
The lion roared viciously. Seeing he was gone, they surrounded Alvah, glaring intensely at Ghazan and Zillah.
They looked ferocious.
"What do we do now?", she asked with confusion in her eyes. She was terribly scared.
He was silent for some time and she thought, has he run out of ideas.
"Well, if only about the second percent and his beast came out, if I take one more, the vessel will be broken".
" But if the beast are present, wouldn't the power instill into their body, and unknowingly". she asked curiously.
"Yes, which is why you will distract them for me", he said looking at her in the eyes. It was like he locked her with his eyes, she couldn't look away but she could say something,
" I'm scared of animals "
" Nows not the time Zillah, you have to do this. He encouraged her, but was it helping.
"Not today", she protested.
"Now, Zillah".
"Uncle",
"Zillah"
She teleported to where they surrounded Alvah. She had to wait for them to see her as a target before she moves.
All eyes were on her, they had Alvah's red eyes, which means for no reason was she safe.
The wolf jumped above her. She ducked, before she could turn back, the lion had its canine on her arm, she quickly teleported away and landed a few metres away.
She looked at her profusely bleeding arm, she ran quickly, they began chasing her. She jumped a height she hadn't jumped before.
She was teleporting in the process, to be faster.
Ghazan appeared in front of Alvah.
About to continue the extraction, the lion appeared in his sight, giving him a dark gaze with it's red eyes. His glare was like daggers to Ghazan's soul.
Ghazan had it, although the beast seemed to have changed due to Alvah's influence on them. They were all celestial beats after all.
He looked into the eyes of the gigantic beast in his front, he walked to it slowly, his eyes turned white, the lion took a step backward.
He shifted his gaze from the lion and went to Alvah. He completed the extraction of the second percent when he heard the sound of a shattered glass.
He looked at the lion, the lion looked at him and left.
He teleported away from the place, to go find Zillah.
She had teleported to the top of a high tree. When Ghazan saw her, he didn't let them know he was there.
He hissed her, she saw him.
If she teleported they had already gotten her scent which means they will eventually find her.
The lion walked past Ghazan, when the other animals turned around they saw the lion.
Ghazan who was unaware of the Lions presence beside him wondered why they all had their eyes on him only to see the lion beside him.
The lion ran away and the others followed suit. She appeared in front of Ghazan, he tugged her hair and they went to meet Alvah.
Watching him from a distance he looked at her, " Zillah you should sleep". He was concerned about her.
With her eyebags, she refused.
" He's safe now, but your health is not, rest". He ordered.
She laid down, holding back the intense sleep in her eyes.
' She doesn't even recognize the fact that her link had broken'. He said to himself.
He moved his hands through her hair till she fell asleep.
....
It was the next day, Alvah was still. unconscious. Zillah was even more worried.
" You are stressing out for no reason Zillah, here eat these apples". He had plucked enough for her to eat. She ate them slowly.
" Are you sure his healing matches up to the damage caused". she asked him with a curious intent.
" Don't doubt me Zillah. If you haven't noticed, his sense of Aura and energy amidst the air had depleted greatly, he'll be fine".
" Here, return to the book".
She collected it and kept it aside.
He looked at her, " Won't you go now?", he asked.
She replied, "The night is safer".
"Oh..." He didn't know about that. ' I guess she's done this before'.
"Yes". She nodded.
When it was night, she left to return the book like she took it.
When she came back, Ghazan was beside Alvah. The healing was taking place.
She appears, sitting close to Ghazan. " I suppose I can stay close to him now". she asked after seeing he could sit beside him.
He smiled, " take your time".
She moved her hand through alvah's hair, staring at him, she then thought.
"What could be next after the evaluation?"...
