Hours after Luo Cheng ended his visit, Yang Jingshen still was in a daze. He didn't even show much of a reaction when the nursing staff came over to give him his medicine and apply ointments on his bruises and wounds, causing them to worry. Usually, he would have cracked a joke or two with these ladies, sending them into a giggling fit. This time though, he was too preoccupied with his own problems to pay them any attention.
According to Luo Cheng, he had apparently noted his unusual eye colour from the very first moment they met. And the other had admitted another thing as well. That the colour of his eyes now seemed to have now deepened a little more than how it was at the beginning.
Yang Jingshen felt both worried and relieved at the same time. Worried because someone had actually managed to notice the unusuality about himself, even before he did. Which proved his previous theory that there could be other people who could notice this strangeness about him.
