One of the questions that Yang Jingshen asked on his latest visit to the heart lake had been about the term called 'mutual goodwill'. Of course, he asked some other stuff as well after his initial discussion with the soul guardian, but most of them didn't receive any concrete replies except some vague hints, whereas the rest were deemed as him not having sufficient authority.
In the end, the only other question the soul guardian answered in full was the one he posed about this 'mutual goodwill'. But, remembering that explanation, Yang Jingshen couldn't help but feel a little complicated in his heart.
According to the soul guardian, there was a way -this it didn't describe- to measure the goodwill a person holds towards another. By goodwill here– it didn't exactly mean good feelings. Rather, this meant the feelings a person would hold towards another, which could either be positive… or negative!
